73 Half Beast

Li Wei returns to her room immediately when she remembered about the beast egg she bought in Jianghu.

She fished out the white sized head egg and put it down the table.

Onigiri, feeling the familiar power came out from the contracted space. There, he saw the egg and instantly drooled at the sight of it.

Finally! 1/3 of his power will regain. With a sonic speed, Onigir flew towards eat and gulp it down before Li Wei could react.

She stared wide eyed at the fluff ball who now looked like the sized of the egg he just ate.

Realizing what Onigiri did, her face turns grim and choke the fluffy ball.

"Spit.it.out.now." She said through gritted teeth.

"N-no. It's mine." Onigiri replied.

"It's mine." Li Wei said.

"It's my power, okay? This the reason why I make a contract with you."

Li Wei let go Onigiri and watch him or rather scrutinizing him.

"Your power?"

"En. This wasn't my real form. I am a proud griffin from the lion bird clan." Onigiri then patiently explains his lineage.

Due to the battle that happened 18-19 years ago, he was badly hurt. He's just a teenager back then. It was a fight between the Dragon clan and the Phoenix clan that greatly shakes the world. Many races was accidentally got involved. And one of them was the Lion Bird clan that sided with the dragon clan.

No one knows what the cause of the fight. However, the fight started between the proud sons of Azure Dragon and Fire Phoenix. Long Hei, as widely known as Black Dragon fought with all his might with Dark Phoenix, Hei Feng.

However, rumored says that Black Dragon fall in love with a human and Dark Phoenix was deeply disgusted by it, that's why that causes the war.

With a click of his small pink tongue, Onigiri looked at the girl smugly. "Oh, really?"

Li Wei jokingly hit him in the head. "You think you know me?" She smiled.

"No. But I can tell you one thing."

Li Wei raise her brows. "Oh? Tell me." She challenge.

"Master, are you aware that you are..." Onigiri began circling Li Wei looking at her observingly.

"That I am?" She question. Onigiri keeps her hanging.

"That you are... Half human and half beast?"

Li Wei was at a loss. What did he just said?

"Little one, don't joke around."

An angry vein appeared on Onigiri's face when he heard what his master just called him. Little one? His much older than her for 18 years!!! His 26 in the human age but his 260 years old as a spirit beast.
