69 Are You From...

Meimei and Feng An attend to Li Wei's room for her medicine. Right now, they are staying in the Min Clan residence.

Li Wei was still wrapped in bandage. It's been a week and 50 percent of her energy are back. And today will be her last day on drinking the bitter healing elixir.

"When can I remove the bandages?" She asked. She wanted to see what happened to her arms, legs and face.

Had she become ugly? She want to know.

"Young miss, Sir Cheng said that we can remove it if you'd like." Meimei answered holding the elixir bottle in hand.

She wanted to see old man Cheng 6 days ago but she cannot move and feel her body. She wanted to thank the old man for saving her life. Because if he doesn't, she had probably already die a week ago. She had felt it.

Li Wei removes the bandages in her arms and what she saw was a terrifying scar. She didn't mind it. She have them all over her body. Next she remove the bandages in her legs and face. Her cheeks riddled with long red scar all the way to her neck.

She look at herself. I'm s beautiful even if my face is full of scars. She thought to herself.

"Where is he?" Li Wei asked referring to Cheng Ki.

"He's in the residence herb garden."

"Bring me to him."

"Yes, miss."

Li Wei, Meimei and Feng An walk to the herb garden and saw three people. One old man and two good looking people with huge similarities in their faces. However, the other has a feminine face.

Old man Cheng and his two disciple felt an aura coming towards their direction. They turn to looked at Li Wei who has no reaction on her face.

Suddenly, Li Wei bowed 90 degrees to Old Man Cheng that greatly surprise him and the siblings.

"Thank you, for saving me." She said softly.

"No problem, but your scars..." Old man Cheng looked at her face when he talk.

Li Wei shook her head and said, "I don't care about it. This is nothing."

"Aren't it painful?" Liu Xu asked wanting to touch her scars but stops himself on doing that. He have no right to touch a woman who isn't his.

"Painful? No. The most painful scars are the scars that aren't show." Li Wei answered to the familiar voice and looked at the black haired feminine face guy.

Her brows knitted.

"Xu?" She questions when she felt the familiar aura coming from him. Unconsciously, she looked at the blue haired man who's a little bit taller than Liu Xu.

"I'm Liu Qing." The man introduces his self and smiled. Li Wei doesn't know if it's a genuine smile or a fake one. He can't read his expression.

"Li Wei." She nodded and turn to looked at the old man again. For the second time, she thank him again.

"Here, put this ointment every night." Old Man Cheng gave her the ointment. His face serious as he continued saying, "I need to talk to you, alone."

The Liu siblings and the two servants excuse themselves and the only people now in the room are Li Wei and Cheng Ki.

Old man Cheng wave his hands to create a barrier. There are two reasons the old man did that. One, so that no one can hear what they are talking. And two, for her not to escape.

"What is it?" Li Wei's hand began to get nervous. She had a feeling that she knows what the old man is going to ask her.

Old Man Cheng didn't want the talk to be longer so he started directly. He said, "Are you from...another world?" His confident face when Li Wei first met him is now look hesitant.

She stared at old man. Golden eyes staring at the dark gray eyes that was filled with various of knowledge.

Cheng Ki wait for her answer and when she finally open her mouth, she laughs.

"Are you going to laugh at me if I say so?" Her voice rough but at the same time, her tone was filled with mirth.

"No. And I won't hurt you."
