41 An Unexpected Gain 1

After entering the inner range mountain, Li Wei instantly met an opponent.

What meets her before entering was a huge fire scorpion. It's body glowing like lava, it's tail was terrifyingly sharp pointing at her.

What's scarier is, there are a hundred smaller ones, a palm-sized standing in front of the large one. It seemed to be protecting it.

[Is that their Queen?] Comically, Li Wei notices a crown in the fire scorpion's head.

"Hey! If you want to die, run!" A woman shouted to Li Wei. She had a very beautiful countenance, face so cold and expressionless but her black eyes carried a certain warm. She was wearing a simple blue robe with white linings. Her green long hair braided messily.

Since she's already here, why run? She came here to train.

The green-haired woman was shocked dumb when she saw Li Wei brandishing her sword towards the Queen fire scorpion.

At first, they attacked Li Wei one by one but seeing their kin got killed simultaneously the fire scorpion instantly thought to attacked in group leaving Li Wei without any breather.

Li Wei step backwards to have some space. The small ones are fastly approaching towards her. Jumping towards her direction to attack.

She swiped her swords in the air to split the fire scorpion into two but one scorpion made its way through stinging her right hand.

"Ah!" Li Wei shakes off the scorpion. The back of her hand is bleeding. Immediately making her whole right shoulder gone numb.

A sweat traveled down in her cheek. The sword in her hand fell. Li Wei felt a numbing pain. She can't feel her right hand at all!

She kicked and squashed the fire scorpion that was about to attack her.

White roses appeared in her hand, putting an ounce of magic power around its stems to strengthen it. She then steadily threw them to the approaching fire scorpions, skewering them one by one.

Seeing the girl fighting so seriously. The green-haired woman came out from her hiding spot to help Li Wei.

Muyang ran towards Li Wei and lifted her up to escape. The fire scorpion did not pursue them.
