Reuniting with their mate

"Where is your mother?" asked Killian as he cradled the lion cubs in his arms. The little ones looked sleepy and were constantly dozing off but tried to hold back while trying to answer Killian. 

A helpless smile graced his face as he looked at the two furballs growling at him seemingly telling about their mother. But Killian was not able to comprehend anything, "I don't understand" then he glanced at Blake asking for his help. 

Blake asked the same question to his babies and the answer that he received made him frown, "Your mom went out of the castle?" the little snakes nodded. That affirmation made him angry, "Why did you guys let her go out in a weather like this?"
