Miracle's POV

Hardy didn't look at me. He just rubbed his nape of neck to ease a pinch of tension in his neck muscles.

He looked frustrated. "I did not kiss Xio!" He said forcefully. "I told you I wouldn't, didn't I?" He asked me.

"Yes" I answered even more frustrated "But you've kissed..."

He exhaled and cut me off.

"That's not something you and I are going to talk about…ever"

"Of course" I murmured. "Everyone has chemistry with everyone except me"

I laughed out loud…it was both mocking and laden with sadness.

"Before I thought I was only bad at sex but now, I am bad at both sex and…kissing. Do you know Stevie once told me that making love to me was equivalent to fucking a mannequin…actually he said it would be easier to fuck a mannequin than me"

He looked up sharply. He came closer to me but not too close.
