VOTED OUT

Abigail could feel her heart pounding as the elevator doors closed.

"Boss, you came in late today. I hope everything is okay?" Rebecca asked.

Abigail turned to the girl and offered her a reassuring smile.

"I'm fine Rebecca" Abigail said as the elevator doors then opened again.

As they headed to the meeting room Abigail glanced at the time on her wrist watch and saw that it was already five minutes past nine.

Coming late was not a good impression.

As both Rebecca and Abigail entered the whole room was quiet just like yesterday. The chatters stopped as all eyes were on the duo.

Abigail noticed that the meeting had not yet commence, she saw that they had reserved a sit for her and Abigail then sat down with Rebecca standing behind her.

The chattering then started again and Abigail sighed in relief as the attention had diverted from her to something else.
