MISTAKES

Abigail blinked her eyes momentarily as she tried to adjust to the lighting of the room, she could feel pain in every part of her body.

She raised her hands up as she rubbed her forehead which seem to be aching as well. She tried to recall what had happened last night and her eyes then widened in realization.

Tears rolled down her cheeks as she remembered why she was feeling pain in the lower part of her body. Abigail then raised her head to look forward and she noticed the man who was seated on the couch with his eyes never leaving her face.

Abigail got down from the bed as she approached the man, she raised her hands up ready to slap him when he held her hands in mid air.

"How dare you?" Abigail asked as more tears rolled down her cheeks while she tried to free her hands from the man's grip.

He then stood on his feet and Abigail noticed how he was only clothed in a grey robe and she dropped her hands back to her side as more tears pooled in her eyes.
