Chapter 4

I woke up at 4am , did my morning routine and went for a walk like I have been going for last 2 years . There is a small park near orphanage .

I sat on the swing and started swaying myself slowly. After sometime someone joined me, Alex.

"You gonna be fine?"he asked.

I didn't reply because I wasn't sure.

"Well I will be making some arrangements hope you will like them!" he said.

"What arrangements?"I asked.

"You'll see". Was all he said and left.

I stood up and started walking around the park to clear my head .

After walking for two hours I went back. I took a shower and started working on my laptop. I finished the presentation and sent it to Alex.

As soon as I shut my laptop and kept it away there was a knock on the door .

"They are here " said the voice from the other side of the door.

I packed my laptop ,took my only suitcase , locked the room and went downstairs.

As I reached the top stairs I saw Mr Kay talking to two men in suit. Well one was talking to him and the other was on the phone.

I recognized them.

Domenico was talking to Mr Kay and Edmundo was talking to someone in his phone.

I walked down the stairs and silently stood beside them. None of them seemed to notice my presence and I did nothing to gain their attention.

After few minutes when Edmundo turned he saw me .

" You're here" he said.

This seemed to gain their attention.

"How long were you standing there?" Asked Mr Kay.

I just shrugged . He sighed.

"Well these are your new brothers and guardian. " I just nodded.

" She doesn't talk ......much......" Mr Kay looked at me. "At all".

Domenico looked at me from head to toe.

I was wearing black jacket with a crop top inside it and grey colored high waist baggy pant folded at bottom with glasses and black shoes.



"Have you packed everything? " asked Mr Kay. I nodded.

"Where is the rest of your stuff?"he asked again. I gave him a look.

He made an O shape with his mouth as he understood.

"Have you asked him to ....." I gave him a serious look and he shut his mouth.

"We should leave."said a very authoritative voice,..Domenico.

I just nodded . I hugged Mr Kay and mumbled a small 'thank you' for only him to hear. At first he seemed to freeze by my sudden action but then he returned the hug.

After saying goodbye to Minnie I

dragged my suitcase and exited the orphanage without giving a single glance to my brothers. As I saw a black Audi , I stood by its door.

After some time Edmundo came out followed by Domenico and Mr Kay. They did their final handshake. Mr Kay wave his hand for the last time and went inside. Edmundo came to me and took my suitcase

"How did you know it was ours??" He asked referring to the car.

I just shrugged my shoulders. Domenico gave me a sharp look and went to the driver's seat.

I and Edmundo also took our seats him in passenger and me in the back.

Domenico started the car and we drove off.

After some time Edmundo started talking. "Let's start with introduction shall we. I am Edmundo Regio your second oldest brother ."

He gave a look to Domenico.

"Domenico Regio oldest brother and your guardian."

I nodded.

"Beatrice" was all I said.

"Okay then.. you don't talk much do you?." He asked facing me.

I just shrugged.

He sighed and started looking at the road.

After some time I took out my laptop and started working.

After sometime the car stopped.

"Do you want something to eat" asked Edmundo. I shook my head no.

"Are you sure you haven't eaten anything and we've been driving for two hours." He asked again. I nodded

"Ok then.." and then he left with Dom (Domenico).

After few minutes he came back with some chips and cookies.

Dom had a burger in his hand and Ed(Edmundo) had a chocolate shake in his hand. He gave me the cookies .

"Is that yours?" he asked pointing to my laptop . I nodded

" Did someone gave it to you?" I shook my head

"You bought it yourself ?"I nodded "Okay..... Ah it will take one more hour to reach our destination why don't you take a nap I'll wake you up once we reach" I shook my head.

"Well then... "I gave him one look and he stopped talking .

After that rest of our journey was peaceful.

After one hour and 15 minutes the car came to a stop in front of a mansion.



Ed came and opened my door.

"Well then come inside" . I followed him.

"Welcome home " he said. The interior of the house was all black and white with nothing special.

"I'll show you your room" he said. I started following him.

"This is your room you may decorate it anyway you want just tell me or anyone and we'll arrange it. I'll leave for you to get settled someone will come get you for dinner." He said and left.



My room was all white thus giving me an advantage of decorating it however I want . I had a perfect idea of how I wanted my room so I made a list of all the things that I would need.

As I was unpacking my phone rang .

"Heya" said the voice that belong to none other than Alex.

"Hey " I replied.

"How's the house " he asked.

I've seen better or rather I've designed better" I replied.

"As expected. Well see you later" with that he hung up of the phone.

After our conversation I knew he was upto some mischief.

Keeping these thoughts aside I started working on my laptop . Yeah I know I work a lot but when you own a large company you have tons of work.

After few hours there was a knock on the door . I opened it and saw a maid standing there.

"Dinner is ready" she said. I gave a nod and stated following her.

When I reached the dining table there were three boys sitting there. I went and sat at a vacant seat opposite the three boys.

All of them were busy on their phones and didn't seem to notice my presence and I did nothing to gain their attention.

After sometime Ed and Dom joined us . Dom went and sat at the head seat while Ed sat beside me .

"Hi " he said. This seemed to make the three boys look up.

" When did you came? " said Ercole. I just shrugged . He made an annoyed face.

I smiled at Ed as he sat and gave him the list that I made to decorate my room . He looked at it ,then opened it and read it.

After reading it he understood what it was.

" You'll do it youself" he asked. I nodded.

"Ok then I'll arrange them . If you need any help ask any of us" he said.

Dom cleared his throat to get our attention.

"Welcome home Beatrice" he said." Lets start with formal introduction shall we.

As you know I'm Domenico Regio your eldest brother and your guardian and CEO of Regio group of companies." He said with an emotionless voice.

" I'm Edmundo Regio your second eldest brother and I'm a doctor " he said with a smile.

"Hi I'm Orlando Regio your third elder brother and I'm in college." He said with a big smile.

" I'm Rodrigo Regio your fourth older

elder brother and his twin , in college." He said with a small smile.

" Ercole Regio ,school" he said frustrated.

They all started looking at me.

"Beatrice" was all I said.

"She doesn't talk.......at all" said Ed.

After that dinner was served . We all ate in silence.

After I ate I stood up to place my plate

in the sink but a maid stopped me. I gave her a look and she backed off .I took my plate and placed it into the sink. I took a bottle out o the fridge and started drinking water . After a few minutes the maids brought all the plates and leftover dinner meaning that all the boys have eaten.

I went back to the dinning table.

All the boys were sitting and talking. As no one paid any attention towards me I started heading towards my room .

"We need to talk" suddenly a cold and authoritative voice said.

I looked back to see all the brothers staring at me intensely.

This is going to be a long night........
