Beasts to Beauties: A Mother's Unearthly Gift

In the dark, under a strange-looking tree, a lady around twenty-something could be seen clenching her stomach and looking pitiful. She seemed to be in pain and was breathing heavily. Above her in the sky, the color was very black and blurry. Rain started falling, and the thunder was clapping loudly and violently. The wind was very thick, slapping everything harshly. The lady stood with the support of the tree, using one hand to prop herself against the tree and the other hand to hold her stomach tightly. She breathed out and continued moving weakly. "Seems like I'm not going to escape this. What type of poison is this?" she wondered. She unbuckled her belt to relieve some pain, then sat down somewhere and groaned while her hand wandered around on the wet ground until it made contact with something. She picked it up and saw the object with the help of the lightning. The thing was round like a bead, and something joined them together. She did not care about what it was and just swallowed it. She was going to die anyway, at least she ate something. She could not figure out the taste of the thing, but it was surely not normal because as soon as it made contact with her throat, it felt very hot, as if she had drunk hot water that had not cooled. "Sh*t! Even in death, my luck is still very bad," she muttered. She was still lamenting when her aching stomach suddenly stopped aching. She did not have the chance to rejoice when her stomach started swelling up, getting bigger and bigger. It was as if it wanted to burst but, alas, it didn't. She could feel herself in labor. She groaned until something escaped her body - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. She was relieved from both the poison pain and her swollen stomach pain. When she looked at what she had given birth to, she was shocked. Eggs. She had given birth to eggs. And there were six. What happened to the eggs? Cat! Cat! Butterfly!

"I need to go somewhere, Olivia. Clear today's and tomorrow's schedule for me," Sona said to Olivia as she stood up, ready to leave.

"Sure, beauty goddess," Olivia replied with a smile on her lips.

Sona nodded and was about to leave, but Enward blocked her way. He was wearing a full white outfit today with expensive matching shoes, and his hair was styled neatly. Inside his chest pocket was a red rose, and a bright smile was plastered on his lips. "I haven't congratulated you like the others," he spoke, pulling the red rose out of his pocket and stretching it out for Sona to take. "Congratulations, Santiana," he bent slightly like a gentle prince.

Looking at Enward, Sona felt somewhat annoyed; she knew his desire hadn't changed. She rolled her eyes and said, "Get out of the way first; I don't have time for you." She wanted to leave, but Enward stopped her again.

"Since you have something important to do, allow me to play the role of the gentleman and drop you at your destination," Enward proposed.

Sona's annoyance was now visible. She pulled out her car keys and shook them in front of him. "As you can see, am not poor, I have my own car and i can drive well, so keep your gentlemanly to yourself," she smiled mockingly.

"I know you do darling. Just let me drop you," Enward insisted.

"You know what? You truly have a problem. Get out of my way," Sona frowned dangerously at Enward frightening him speechless before walking past him.

Enward came back to reality after Sona left and touched his left chest. "Did she really scare me?" he wondered. After thinking for a while, he put the rose in his hand back into his chest pocket and pulled out his phone. Dialing someone's number, he said, "Trace Santiana to her destination."

"Yes," the person Enward called replied before the call was disconnected.

"Did you take the pictures?" Enward suddenly asked.

A young man exited his hiding spot and walked to Enward's side. "I took them," he replied.

"Good... post it online with the headline 'Fresh Actress Santiana is Actor Enward's Girlfriend,'" he instructed.

"I will do exactly what you said, but what about the payment?" the young man asked.

Enward pulled out his phone, typed something, and then returned it to his pocket. "Check your account, your money is settled there, but make sure the post is pinned on the online market" he said.

"I will... I will," the young man replied happily.

Enward nodded and left.

*O Rock School For All

In a grand club for students.

"Congratulations, my dear sister! How are you going to celebrate this?" Sonia put her golden-framed phone on the table and sipped her tea.

Should we go out to celebrate? you have to sponsor all of us. "Snow chuckled"

Sona rolled her eyes. "Mother hasn't seen us in a month; I bet she will come any moment now. Let's go to class first," she replied, ignoring Snow and Sonia's words.

Everyone nodded and exited the club. As they were a few meters away, they sensed Emmy's presence. They all looked at each other in surprised before putting away their phones and hiding their expensive shoes. After they were all set, they went to welcome Emmy.

At the school entrance.* Setting ground.

"Mother!" all the children greeted.

"Mother, I miss you!" Snow rushed forward to hug Emmy, but in the middle of her action, her gaze landed on Emmy's big stomach. Her spread arms stiffened, and she looked at Emmy's stomach weirdly.

The others also had the same expression as Snow.

Emmy noticed her children's odd gazes on her stomach and couldn't understand why they were looking at her that way. "You little siblings have grown quickly," she explained, thinking that their looks were merely because of her noticeably larger belly.

"This bastards," Dimitri cursed inwardly.

"This must be that cat's handiwork," Dave gritted his teeth.

"Why on earth would she allow her tummy to be this big in just a span of two months?" Sonia wondered, lightly shaking her head.

Cat! Cat! Butterfly! Did you guys want to get mother in trouble?. "Desmond thought"

Inside Emmy's stomach*

Why are this fellows cursing me?. "Cat opened her green eyes she has a confused gaze on her face"

Are you asking me? You free yourself merely because mother was now aware of our presence, and was out of that human house, her Tommy must have be big beyond words. "Butterfly hissed"

Huh? Isn't that how a pregnant woman tommy was supposed to be? Big like that "Cat was completely at loss"

Are you comparing yourself with a human baby? "Butterfly hissed again"

Whatever. "Cat humped and closed her eyes again".

"Mother, what about the place you're staying?" Sona asked, voicing her main concern.

Sonia's gaze landed on Sona's wrist and saw the expensive wristwatch on her hand ankle. "Damn you, Sona," she cursed inwardly and walked over to Sona's side, hiding Sona's wrist with her body. "Mother, tell us!" she urged, drawing Emmy's attention to herself.

Emmy was about to explain when her phone suddenly rang out. She pulled it out and, upon seeing the caller ID, her face paled a little. She answered the call, placing the phone to her ear.

"Where have you been these days?" Devin's angry voice sounded over the phone. The phone was on speaker, so Devin's loud voice was clearly heard by the children.

"Who is this crazy being that dares to shout at Mother?" Dimitri's expression turned cold immediately.

Noticing the ugly expressions on her children's faces, Emmy quickly lowered the phone volume. "S-sorry, boss... something important came up on my side. Please give me a few more months," she replied.

After hearing Emmy's voice, Devin remained silent for a moment. His anger seemed to dissipate as he calmly asked, "Where are you?"

"Somewhere far... very far. You wouldn't even be able to find the place if I told you," Emmy responded almost immediately, as if she had anticipated the question before he could finish asking it.
