Chapter Thirty Four: Frighten for the Future

It's been a couple of days since I met Sabine, and I could not leave the tower.

After I disappeared and caused everyone to go frantic just yesterday, Uncle Stan secured the tower with a powerful barrier to prevent anyone from hunting me down because of the prophecy and keep me from leaving.

I'm so bored.

Everyone is so busy. Mom and Dad are out again, Gideon is somewhere on a mission, and Tala is training with Uncle Stan and Izek...I last saw him when he left the other day.

He had an urgent call from his superiors wanting him to return. Izek was what the humans called MIA (Missing In Action) and wasn't on leave.

I was upset that Izek lied to me, believing he could stay as long as he liked, but that wasn't the case.

Knowing he wanted to be with me longer, I couldn't be mad at him.
