Chapter Forty-Two: Tala's Premonition

Izek and I embrace each other. Neither of us don't want to let go. My whole world revolves around him now that we have found each other in a very unique way. 

At first, I was skeptical about being with someone. I was insecure about my appearance, but meeting Izek, I wasn't alone. He may look normal, but he's a vampire. 

Like I found my own Edward Cullen.

"Who's Edward Cullen?" Zula asked. 

I shook off the thought and just giggled.

"Why are you giggling, my love?" Izek brushed his finger against my cheek. I grabbed his hand and planted a kiss. 

"Nothing, I just want to spend the whole day with you." I laid my head against his chest. I can hear his heartbeat thumping against my ear. 

His warm embrace keeps me secure and loved. 

I would never have expected I could have such a feeling in my life. I feared being outcasted and targeted by others who found my appearance abnormal.
