Chapter 15

"We're being tailed," Kade said as they left the Chinese restaurant.

He had hoped Crystal would've accepted his offer to dinner, but then she tore upstairs with barely a good-bye.

Overall, his evening was the pits. The Chinese restaurant was crowded and noisy. The server had slung her tray around and doused him with a pitcher of ice water. If he used his gun, he would probably shoot out ice cubes.

Paul had laughed so hard at the sight of him drenched that he turned red, making his blond hair look nearly white. After Kade dried off in the men's room the best he could, he didn't even finish his food. They paid and left.

Now they took a right on Richmond, a one-way street.

"In the blue sedan." If he had his bike he could lose them within minutes.

"I see them. Who do you think they are?" Paul glanced at him, then back to the road.

"Wanna arrest them and find out?"
