THE MAN FROM THE SKY

It started with two kingdoms and other villages and towns. The two kingdoms were named Elven and Humin, one kingdom ruled a certain forest and the mountain while the other kingdom ruled the plain land. 

Humin kingdom consists alone of humans and part of those humans are wizards and witches. The humans live in peace and happiness with the witches and wizards blessing them with their powers and ruling the plain land. 

The Elven Kingdom consists only of elves. The Elves look like humans but the only thing that differentiates them from the humans are their pointy ears that look like that of animals, and their skills in archery and swordsmanship. The elves also have magic and they are immortal and don't die unless killed and prefer to live in the forest so they rule the forest and the mountain. 

The Humin kingdom castle which is where the royal family and high people live was built in the middle of the city where the people live while the Elven kingdom was built in the mountain surrounded by the forest and both the people and royal families and high people lived together in peace. 

The two Kingdoms had hated and battled each other for a long time because of a myth from both sides. When the battle between the two kingdoms stopped then a law was made that if a member from one kingdom trespassed into the other kingdom the person would be killed.

From the Elves' side, the myth says that they were the first to once rule all the land before the humans came with their wizards and witches to drive them away from the plain lands and curse them to live in the forest which resulted in the death of their elders and many of their people.

From the humans' side, the myth says that it was only they who once ruled all the land before the elves came out of nowhere and waged war against them and tried to take all they owned but they couldn't cause they fought hard and was only able to take over one thing which was the forest and the mountain. 

The two kingdoms both lived in peace without trespassing into each other Kingdom until the priestess of the Elven Kingdom saw a vision of a common enemy that is going to wanted to take over the Kingdoms in the future then told the King of the Elves to seek out the help of the Humin kingdom.

The elves' King did send a message to the King of the humans that he needed to see him to discuss something important with him but the King of humans saw that as a chance to take back what was taken from the Humans so he agreed to meet the elves' King. 

The humans King and the elves King meet at the border that separates both Kingdoms with their generals and guards all on horse. The elves' King told the human King about the vision and what was coming for them and that the only way they could defeat their future common enemy was to become one so he wanted to call a truce.

The human King did as if he was interested in what the King of the elves had said, unknown to the King of the elves was that the King of the humans already prepared assassins to assassinate the King of the elves.

After the King of the elves was done talking he asked for the opinion of the King of the humans but instead, the King of the humans smiled and said to the King of the elves ''only my dead body will make a truce to you or believe whatever comes out from the mouth of an Elf. I know why you are here and before that, I will take your life before you take mine''. 

After the King of the humans said that to the King of the elves, the assassins attacked the King of elves, his generals, and his guards to kill them. 

The King of elves, his generals, and his guards were able to survive the attack of the assassins and got back to their Kingdom safely.

Upon getting back to Elven and his family, and his subjects hearing about the attack on the King, they all implore the King to attack the humans but the King refuses to and says ''I should have known. What will I expect from someone who has a vendetta against me and my kind? I was foolish to think he would agree to the truce or join hands with me but we can not start another war with the humans not now. We have to preserve everything we have for the future enemies that the priestess has warned us about. The human King may disagree with me now but he is coming back to me, trust me, and we have to be prepared for what is to come''.

A few years later, a man fell from the sky naked with a golden half-staff and both landed on the ground but the man and the golden half-staff landed in different places. The man landed somewhere in a desert while the golden half-staff landed somewhere close to the Humin Kingdom making a crack in the ground. 

The day both the staff and the man landed on the ground, the Elves' priestess could feel the presence of evil and danger, and where both the staff and the man landed. 

The priestess told the King of the Elves about the man and the staff which was the evil she had told him about and that they had to find both the man and the golden half-staff and kill the man before he brought downfall to everything he touched and that she will lead the way.

A group of Elf men armed and the priestess went on to search for both the man and the golden half-staff but before the priestess and the men could get to the golden half-staff it was already taken by a human and token to the Humin Kingdom then they went after the man. The man who took the golden half-staff saw the golden half-staff as a treasure lost by someone and decided to keep him for himself. 

The priestess and the men found the man who fell from the sky walking alone naked in the desert, weak and thirsty, and pretended to help him. The priestess and the men took him out of the desert and clothed him, fed him, and tried to talk to him but he didn't seem to understand them nor did the priestess understand the language the man was speaking but they didn't see that as a hindrance to their mission. The priestess and the men waited for the man to fall asleep cause he was weak and needed rest before they killed him and buried then returned to Elven. 

Upon getting back to Elven the priestess told the King that they had done the assignment except for the staff that now lives in the Humans Kingdom. The King said not to worry since the only evil that can use the staff is gone and besides the staff is in the hands of an ordinary human so they have nothing to worry about. 

The man that fell from the sky that was killed and buried woke up and crawled out of his grave then sat down on the ground and breathed in and out. The man said to himself ''this world is different from mine. I have to find the staff so I can make this world mine''.

Years later, after the falling of the unknown man and half of the staff from the sky, lightning suddenly struck through the window of the palace hall of the Elven kingdom into the floor creating smoke that covered something unknown while the King and his subjects were having a meeting. 

The King and his subjects were surprised, scared, and startled upon seeing the lightning strike the floor and waited for the smoke to clear off to see a strange handsome man then the King ordered the guards into the hall.

The guards came into the hall with their unsheathed weapons and surrounded the man, then the man said to everyone in the hall that he meant no harm but no one recognized the man's language or understood what he said and thought he said a spell. The King ordered the guards to attack the man. 

Just as the guards were about to attack the strange man, the priestess barged into the hall saying ''stop everyone'', and the guards stopped from attacking the strange man. 

Everyone watched as the priestess moved closer to the strange man and stopped a few paces from him.

The King asked what the priestess was doing when he stopped in front of the man but the priestess gave no response to the King and said to the strange man ''you have the same energy as the man''.

But the strange man didn't understand what the priestess said then the strange man touched the priestess's cheek and saw a vision where the priestess met the other man, killed him and buried him. 

The man said to the priestess ''you have met my brother. Where is he?'', and everyone was surprised that the man just spoke their language. 

"First, I need you to come with me'' said the priestess to the strange man. 

Hearing that, the King said to the priestess

''what are you doing we should kill him''. 

"No, your majesty. He means no harm and he can be trusted and if you don't think you can trust him then trust me'' said the priestess to the King. 

Since the King trusted and loved the priestess, he let the strange man go with the priestess.

The priestess took the strange man to her home and clothed him then she sat him down. The priestess told the strange man her name and asked all about the strange man and where he comes. The man said ''my name is Mal and I come from a world different from yours. I can't explain my world to you but I only came here because I felt the presence of my brother in your world after years of searching for him and your world is in danger''. 

"So you mean you are the brother of the man that fell from the sky years ago?'' the priestess asked Mal. 

"Yes, he is twin brother and his name is Nai. And I see that you killed him and buried him'' said Mal.

"Am sorry that I had to kill him. As a priestess, I have to protect my people and he was a very big threat to my world. But how did you know I killed and buried him?'' asked the priestess. 

"I saw it immediately I touched you. You have nothing to be sorry about cause my twin brother isn't dead'' said Mal. 

The priestess was surprised to hear that and asked ''What do you mean by that?''. 

"There is only a weapon that can kill Nai and it can also only be wielded by me. Your world is just like the other worlds my brother has conquered before my kind decided to stop him. You think you killed him but he isn't dead and judging by the years Nai has used here he would have become part of you people and live just like you people'' said Mal. 

The priestess was shocked to hear that the man she and the men killed was not dead. The priestess asked ''If your brother is not dead then where is he?''. 

"Planning on how to conquer your world by bringing his army here'' said Mal.
