Recommendation and Special Admission (Part 2)

There was no response from the other side.

After about fifteen minutes, Samson sent a message.

Riley lowered his head, and the corner of his mouth twitched.

Riley didn't forget about Dovestruk. He went to the kitchen cabinet, took out the food specially meant for Dovestruk, and placed it in front of it. Only then did he remember that he himself haven't eat anything yet.

After satisfying his hunger with a simple bowl of fried rice, it was already 2:07 in the afternoon.

Probably due to the morning's training, Fire Dog was curled up on the couch, peacefully asleep.

Riley didn't disturb it.

He had initially planned to go back to the Beast Tamer Center in the afternoon with his proof, but seeing how soundly Fire Dog was sleeping, he changed his mind.

Riley tiptoed to his room, picked up the 9th grade textbook "Analysis of Spirit Beasts," and started reading it while lying on his bed.

When he checked the Beast Tamer Codex on his phone and learned things about independent awakenings, he realized that the high school entrance exam wasn't as simple as his classmate in the front desk had described.

The high school entrance exam focused on theoretical knowledge, and once you were awakened by magnetic waves stimulation, they would add a Brain Domain Development Score. Developing 1% was equivalent to 20 points, and 2% meant 40 points.

With a total score of 650 points available in the test, this percentage score didn't contribute much significantly.

The Education Department did indeed give great importance to those independent Awakeners, and they released various policies for enrolling independent Awakeners each year, but none of those policies allowed someone who scored zero to enter the Beast Tamer High School.

They could attend vocational high schools, but that wasn't Riley's choice.

Independent Awakeners had two ways to enter Beast Tamer High School: recommendation and special admission.

For recommendation, apart from the quota recommendation, the students' three-year middle school performance also mattered. The school would send relevant student information to the Beast Tamer High School they wanted to recommend to, and the school would then assess the student's qualification for admission.

With Riley's consistently ranking third from the bottom in the regular class, he doubted that even if his school wanted to recommend him, they wouldn't have the face to do so.
