On hearing what Wendy said, Lyra instantly stood up from her sitting position and gave Wendy a questioning gaze.
"What do you mean by 'Peter found your father?"
Wendy came forward and brought out a trinket from her apron.
As soon as the trinket was brought out, it glowed with a bluish hue.
"Where did you...how did you?"
Lyra stared at the glowing trinket with wide open eyes.
"This is something that my father made for me a long time ago
I never knew that he actually imbued it with magic, until today when I heard his voice through it"
"You actually heard him speak to you through it?"
Lyra asked as she pointed at the glowing trinket.
She had never really witnessed magic or magic items up close and this was her first time doing so.
"Yes I did — though it was a one way communication because no matter how I called out to him, he didn't seem to hear me"
"What did he say?" Lyra asked.
