CHAPTER 31 - Wendy Cole
Peter was quite shocked by Wendy's unexpected behavior.
"What are you doing?.....get up!"
"Not until you agree to heed my request" she insisted while maintaining her subservient posture.
Peter was quite conflicted by this scenario — especially due to the fact that Wendy, who seemed to be in her late teens was much older than him.
And now such a senior was bowing down before him — face to the floor in helplessness.
At that point he knew that whatever the case may be — if it is within his power — he had to help her.
"Ok fine I'll help you — just get up" he said finally.
"Thank you my Lord mage" Wendy said with a relieved sigh as she stood up on her feet.
"Just so you know, I will only be able to help you if your request is within the limits of my ability" Peter told her.
"I understand my Lord mage, I wouldn't have come to you like this if I was not sure that you could help me" Wendy replied with her head bowed low.
