There's more, President Du

While they were working in the hotel suite, Han Ye received the full report from Head Manager Han.

Once he was done reading, he briefed DX on the latest news of Hotel W.

Without looking up from the documents he was reading, DX ordered, "It would be bad for publicity if someone died in the hotel. Tell him I would approve the ban."

"Yes, sir."

DX recalled what Han Ye was saying earlier and he finally looked up, "He used a crossbow?"

"Yes, sir."

"Why?"

"Head Manager Han said a gunshot would bother other customers."

DX nodded and went back to his documents. The trip took longer than he thought.

When they landed, Han Ye found out that someone else made an offer to the owner of the airline.

In fact, the amount offered was a lot more than what the Du Conglomerate was willing to offer.

They eventually found out that their competitor was the West Corporation.

Even though it was a company that was based overseas and the registered owner was someone else, few knew that the one with the decision making power was the Luo Family.

The Luo Family had been trying to topple him ever since his father passed away, and DX knew that they were the one who colluded with the Ye Family to turn against him.

Luckily, they had underestimated DX's ability. They thought they were dealing with a greenhorn.

They thought that he was someone who had no experience in managing a company.

Unfortunately for them, Du Jin was a careful man and he had secretly trained his son and started grooming him to be his successor since young.

By the time he was eighteen, DX was responsible for 40% of the company's annual profit. This was a secret that only his parents knew.

The ignorant Ye Family tried to trick him into messing up and DX played along with them. He pretended to do as per their advice.

However, the moment their guards were down, he struck at all their weaknesses and took away 50% of the companies that were controlled and/or owned by the Ye Family.

His action greatly crippled the power of the Ye Family. In fact, if it was not because of his sentimental mother who pleaded for him to forgive her family, he would had bankrupted them.

Finally finished reading the document, DX said, "Han Ye, arrange a meeting with CEO Chen."

"Yes, sir."

When he noticed that Han Ye was hesitating, DX raised a brow and asked, "Is there anything that you want to tell me?"

Han Ye nodded, "It's not that important but it's related to our future Madam President."

DX glared at him and snapped, "Everything related to her is important!"

Adjusting his glasses, Han Ye gulped before he started his report,

"I have completed the research on AVENGE. The owner is Lu ZiYan aka Thousand Hands God aka Phantom."

DX recalled Kai Xin's reaction when she heard Callum mentioned the name. He asked, "Is he the same Lu ZiYan that the idiot has been fangirling about?"

Han Ye nodded, "He bought AVENGE roughly 3 years ago and he is the only owner of the establishment."

"Family?"

"Dead. His parents and his sister died in an accident engineered by one of the competitors of the World Hackers Series."

DX nodded. When one reached the top, there would be many who would want to drag him down without any care for consequences.

He signaled Han Ye to continue his report.

"His winnings from the WHS amounted to around $2.5 million after tax and the insurance payout was quite a big sum too. There was nothing weird with the transactions of his bank account. However..."

"What?" asked DX.

"He frequently donates under his own name and the name of AVENGE and one of the recipients is Zi Han's Orphanage. In fact, most of the donation went to Zi Han's Orphanage."

As Han Ye continued to report, DX thought to himself, "Again with Zi Han's Orphanage...Exactly what is the connection of that place to Kara?"

"Furthermore, I have went through the background details of Zi Han's Orphanage. 12 years ago, it was known as Happy Home and back then, due to the unpopularity of the orphanage, the funding for it ran out and it was on the verge of closing down. However, almost to the end of the year, they received a huge donation and two years later, they renamed it to Zi Han's Orphanage."

DX frowned, "Did you find out who was the donor?"

Han Ye nodded. He took out a picture from his file and handed it to his boss before replying, "Luo Yu Sheng, the patriarch of the Luo Family."

DX stood up and walked around the room as he tried to digest the new information. He turned to Han Ye and said,

"I know Luo Yu Sheng. My father told me about him before. He is a huge philanthropist and he frequently made donations to various organization. However, why would he make a donation to a specific orphanage when he has never done so previously? And of all the orphanage in Imperial City, why Zi Han's Orphanage?"

"Maybe he is trying to hide someone there?"

DX shook his head as he answered, "No. He is a man who has strong family values. If he has an illegitimate son, he would have taken him in instead of hiding him in an orphanage...Unless..."

"Unless what, sir?"

"Unless someone else is using his name to make the donation. Keep investigating and report back to me when you find something new."

Han Ye nodded, "There's more, President Du."
