Chapter 20 The Man Who Protects Her with His Body_1

Baili Xia had no idea who the old man was. Even though she was curious, what mattered the most to her at the moment was the injury of Night Shadow.

The blade was originally intended for her. If not for saving her, he wouldn't have been injured.

"You're still bleeding." Regardless of what Night Shadow said, she attempted to rearrange the shirt she was wearing, in order to tend to his wound immediately.

However, two buttons were missing. The shirt could not be closed properly. If a breeze blew, her stomach would be exposed.

Having noticed her awkwardness, Night Shadow caught a glimpse of her distress. An almost imperceptible smile appeared in his eyes.

Suddenly bending over, he grabbed the hem of her shirt, and before she could refuse, tied a knot for her.

Although the knot was not aesthetically pleasing, it was functional. The shirt was sufficiently long for her. With the knot tied, it reached her waist.

At least, it wouldn't be blown open by the wind anymore.
