QI PURITY

After Ragnar took the two unconscious kids into their room he met with the townsfolk ."I don't want anyone talking about the holy children as from today, treat them the same way you'll treat normal children".

"What about our children, they may talk about it".A man said.

"I know Tomas, I'll use the spirit seal to erase every memory they have about the holy child prophecy". Ragnar replied."Now everyone call out your children".

Soon, about twenty little kids were gathered in front of him, white light spread from his hands covering the children, after a few minutes the light dispersed, the children were confused not feeling anything different in their bodies.

After addressing the people, Ragnar went towards the town's entrance.

"But your injuries aren't healed yet!, it's too dangerous for you to go out of town".A man said to Ragnar, seeing him try to leave town.

"Do you really think I've being stagnant all these years, of course my injuries are healed. am going to the rainbow Forest to get energy fruits, for those two little fellas"Ragnar Said smilingly as he walked out of town.

"I can't believe I just saw a smile on the chief's face"a man said with his mouth wide open from shock.

"He hasn't smiled ever since that incident, I guess those two kids mean a lot to him than we thought". Another man said looking at the chief's back with pity.

After a few days Carl woke up " i wonder how many days I slept". he thought. Turning left he saw Ralph still sleeping on the bed"this guy is just like a big baby, all he does is eat and sleep".He stood up and left the room, due to the small size of the house he was able to get to the back without getting lost. He could see Ragnar looking at the stars, and for some reason he felt the old man looked lonely.

"why are you just standing there and staring at me?"Ragnar suddenly said without moving his eyes from the sky.

Carl was shocked"how did you know am staring at you, do you have eyes on your back".

"haha, you'll be able to do this if you reach my level"Ragnar said facing him"so did you breakthrough the spirit formation realm".

"if you're talking about this, yes I did"he said with a proud face creating a ball shaped mass of Qi in his hands."Aren't I amazing".

"Well don't let your ego get to you, leveling up too fast could ruin your foundation, creating bottlenecks for you in future". Ragnar Said with a stern face.

"Ok old man"Carl said dismissively.

"To ensure your consecutive breakthroughs won't affect your foundation, I forbid you from breaking through to the spirit growth realm until you are fifteen"

"what!, you can't ask me not to breakthrough until am fifteen, that's a whole ten years you're asking me to waste, and besides why should I listen to you". Carl grumpily said.

"who said you're wasting your years"Ragnar Said with a cunning smile. seeing his smile Carl knew he was up to no good.

"As long as you have a Qi purity level of ten, not only will I let you breakthrough I'll even give you a gift, are you ready for the test".

"wait a minute old man, what is this Qi purity level, and how many levels does it have".

To answer his question, Ragnar created a ball shaped mass of energy identical to the one he made earlier and asked"what do you feel about this ball of mine compared to yours".

Carl observed the ball for a while and said "it feels more refined than the one I made"

"This is because my Qi is purer than yours". Ragnar saiid smugly.

"You're older and stronger than me so your Qi should be purer right?"Carl said confusedly.

"That's not how it works little boy, your Qi purity can only be increased through practice in your foundation realms, after attaining the Spirit realms you can't increase it anymore except you find some heavenly herbs". Ragnar explained.

"so what was your Qi purity level"Carl said curiously.

"My Qi purity was ten, this made me one of the greatest geniuses in the world"Ragnar Said smugly, not adding the fact that he actually had to remain at the spirit formation peak stage for twelve years in order to get that a Qi purity level that high.

"Wow you're so cool, but is ten the highest level of Qi purity, why didn't you have a higher purity level"Carl said with an innocent face.

Hearing those words, Ragnar felt like spanking him but seeing him innocent face, he just ignored the question."Do you really think it's easy to achieve a purity level higher than ten, I'll see how many years you'll have to practice before you get a purity level ten"he thought.

"Wait here", he said and entered the house, he soon came out with a Jade Stone that had fifteen holes."now release your Qi into the Stone so we can see what your purity level is".

Carl out his hands on the Stone, soon the Stone began to light up.
