20 Chapter 20: Siege Attack on Gouseon (part1)

King Norman Schiller see with own eyes of his enemy army standing ready to attack at any moment.

"By the gods may have mercy on our souls this day."

"My king should not talk in such a way not at least where his men can hear him."

Marcellus pointed out as king Norman notices his men looking at him and the way he was behaving.

"Your are right Marcellus a king should not speak in such a way forgive me."

"There is nothing to be forgiven about my king, your just need to not show weakness to the enemy or to your men and speaking about enemy here he comes now."

King Norman see Elbert ride up to the walls of his kingdom with his men by his side.

"It been sometime king Norman." Ebert said with a calm expression on his face

"Elbert…. I never thought I would see you again like this to face each other as enemies."

Elbert then started to laugh right then.

"Do not speak in such a tone like you are being betrayed here on this day, you should know since your the one that betrayed my father when you where his friend."

Hearing that made King Norman remember that fateful day the face of a man who once called him friend.

"There was nothing I could have done my family was daunger at the time if there was any other way…."

"There were other ways for you to have help my father instead of going along with it. Now that you made your decided clear of on it and now you must pay the price."

"And this is way you to make me pay by bringing an army at my doorstep."

"Yes, you should've known this day will come Norman and there is no way out of it that is why I made my way over here to give you another chance here."

King Norman didn't say a word and wait for Elbert to go on talking.

"I received you answer before coming all the way here, I am a kind man and given our history, I am giving you another opportunity to give up here and now."

"And what makes you think I won't give the same answer as before."

"Then your a bigger fool to reject me again a second time."

King Norman think this over, he wanted to give up right then and there, but the man couldn't do such a thing. Doing that will mean he and his family would have to pay for the man past action against Elbert family.

After a moment of silence the man has made up his mind and spoke.

"I will not bow down like a dog to you, no my kingdom Gouseon will not fall we the people are strong and will stand against your Siege to the end do you hear."

An uproar of cheers erupted among King Norman men Elbert didn't show anger or hatred, no facial expression he was making was disaportment at the man.

"You have seal your death, one you wish you didn't mark upon yourself."

Elbert wishapper those words to himself that KIng Norman could not hear with his own ear.

"Nothing to say now huh." King Norman royal guard said as he was there on the wall as well.

Elbert look at all them and only said one thing to them.

"You're going to die."

Elbert then turn his horse back with his man follow.

"Ah fuck him my king, the man is scard that we have corage to face him and men head on isn't that right men."

They all cheer agreeing with the man, but King Norman was not feeling it as the words that Elbert said kept replying in his mind.

"Marvin." KIng Norman call for the captain of royal guards.

"Yes my king."

"I want you to go to my wife and children take them away as far as possible from here."

"My king I can not abandoned you, I am the royal guard for a reason to stand by your side and protect you from any danger."

King Norman turn to Marvin with a series look on his face.

"I am not the only one you must protect, my family also your duty as well to protect do you understand me Marvin."

"I understand my king and do so at once."

Marvin took his leave as King Norman go back to watching Elbert army from a far.

"My lord is back, what is the plan?." Elbert general ask.

"We play along here until my secret card come into play do understand, so there is no need to rest for now."

"Yes my lord as you commed."

Elbert general order rest to get ready while Wilson walk up to the side as he heard what he said.

"What the hell are you planing Elbert."

"Hm right it something you were never informed of or your being paying not to know everything and kill whoever I tell you to."

"I am beginning to trust you less and less here Elbert and I am not liking it one bit."

"Remember that talk we had on the way here, well I told you I am a man who knows how to play his cards right and there one secret card that I have been hiding until now."

Wilson couldn't understand what Elbert and the man didn't ask think of asking him to explain what he means or it was more like he wants to be aware of these plans.

"I can tell you desire to know my friend, So I'll be entertaining and allow you to estimate, what my secret card could be."

"So what is this a game now Elbert do I look like I am in the mood to be playing fucking here."

"Play or let my sight, your option my friend."

Wilson stood there a moment then decided to not play along with the man game and left returning to his men.

"Well then my friend, I guess you're just going to have to wait and see with own eyes when it comes."

Elbert look at Gouseon while a wicked smile appear on his face.

"Come on! Fucker!."

The man yelled at Victor as the two of them we're locked in a fight inside the tavern.

Victor focus his eyes on the man he has to fight with, but had to make sure to pay attention to guy friends watching.

Not waiting any longer the man make the first move throw a punch at Victor way.

Of course he can see this punch approaching as it seems like this man was a amenture in a fight while Victor had quite the expression in fighting back at the campe.

Dodging the punch coming at him Victor took the opportunity to strike dispatching a punch into the men gute making him cry out in pain and taking a few steps back.

The man got anger even more going straight for Victor and again he can see it coming. He move to the side trapping the man to fall hard into the floor.

Everyone laughs at him falling onto the floor like an idiot, he slowly got back up.

"You think this is a game here little shit."

"A game you say, I didn't know we were playing one here."

"Oh you going to wish this was just a game."

Listening to this man carefully, he then felt someone coming at him from behind.

He know immensely it was one of this guy friends coming to join in on the fight, so he waited until he got close enough for him to grab one of the guys arm flip him over slamming him down hard onto the floor.

Then slammed one of his foot down hard onto his face.

"I had a feeling your friend was going to join in on our fight."

"Well I wasn't planning on playing fair since the beginning and it going keep going that way to the end."

When the man said that another one of his comrade strike him with a cut to the side of his face by a dagger in his hand.

Startled by such an unexpected attack made Victor fall backwards to the floor.

When Victor was down the next assault came with the dagger impale the left leg thighs digging in deep spilling blood.

Victor cry out in pain, but didn't stop fighting as he kicked the men in the face then grab the dagger in his left leg thigh and pull it out fast as he throws the dagger far away.

Slowly getting up Victor start to get back into a fight stand, but was ambush from behind by the guy he slammed down hard into the floor. That guy grab him making unable to do anything.

"Ha! Nice one man, now let end this." the man that started the fight said as he didn't hold back throwing a solid punch to Victor face.

Blood emerge from Victor nose and lips, but he didn't give up using to headbutt backward to the man holding.

He lets go to put two of his hands on his face crying in agony with his nose now broken.

"God damn it! Why don't you just fucking die!."

Victor grow tired of this fight and decided to end it taking out his long sword into the fight.

"Oh going to use a weapon now, well this is going to be even more fun."

That man was about taking out his weapon as well, but was stopped with his head being cut off by Victor.

Head and body falls to the floor with blood gushing out the next target for Victor was another guy with the broken.

Moving fast Victor impale the man chest before he had time to act now that 2 are dead that leave 3 left to kill.

Victor focus his attention on them, and then charge at them with not a lot of time to act each of those men was cut down by him.

Everything became quite right inside that tavern people there look at Victor with blood on his sword and him as well.

"Victor you…" Elaine was the only one to walk up to him the girl was a little scared.

"Don't come any closer or you might step into the blood spilled on the floor."

Elaine listen and didn't take a step further.

"Do you know what you done now they are going to want blood for this." the village chief said

"I know and the only way to make sure that doesn't happen is to go after them."

"You don't mean."

"Yeah I am going after them."

Everyone was shocked to hear that, I mean how can a young boy who not even man yet be able to handle against a group of bandits.

"Now then does anyone know where these bandits are camp." Victor asked, but no one was going to answer him.

He let a big sigh thinking it was dumb thing to ask them knowing how scard they are.

"I know where their camp are, I can lead you to it."

A young man made his way through the people appearing in front of Victor view.

"Brother! No." Elaine yelled.

"Yes sister it time those bandits get what coming to them for all the things they have done to our village to our family."

"I know they have to pay, but you are the only family I have left in this village and I don't want to lose you."

Victor can understand what going and decided on what to do walking up to Elaine brother.

"All I need is the location can you tell me."

"But…"

"Just tell me the location, you have a sister to look after don't you."

He look at Elaine who look ready to burst into tears.

"Alright I tell you."

Telling Victor what he needed to know, he was ready to go, but was stopped by Elaine.

"Your leaving now, but your wounded."

"Thank you for the concern Elaine, but I will be fine sorry to leave you guys with the mess I made."

"It is fine we will take care of it be careful young traveler." the village chief said.

Victor smile at everyone there inside the tavern and left making his out of the village getting back on his horse and making his way to the location of the bandits given to him by Elaine brother.
