Basti spent hours each day practicing their powers and exploring the depths of the human mind. They learned how to differentiate between the thoughts of different people, and how to control the volume of the thoughts they heard. They also learned how to differentiate between different emotions and how to sense them accurately.

Basti's powers allowed them to understand people on a deeper level, to see through their facades and understand their true feelings. Basti found that this ability made them more empathetic and compassionate, and they started to see the world in a new light.
