51 Ephyra Academy

After getting back to my base I was informed that Peter had stopped by, but still no call or visit from Doctor Sterns. Sure I could just kidnap sterns and make him work for me, but he was an expert in his field and I wasn't.  It was always wise to show a certain level of respect for those that make things you plan to put into your body no matter if it's fast food or gamma radiation. It was a good policy to live by.

When Peter had come by the shop, Eli had given him a tour of the first and second floor and apparently he was wow'd by the advance tech. Couple that with the fact that Eli even though younger than him could keep up with him on an intellectual level, Peter was hooked. The honey trap operation didn't need to happen thanks to Eli's efforts.

I was a little surprised to hear Peter and Eli got along so well despite the age gap and despite the fact that they are people from different time periods. Eli was born in 1984 and grew up in the 90's and early 2000's while Peter Parker was born in 2001 and would grow in the next two decades. It would be like Peter talking to someone his dads age when it came to things Eli related to.

Eli used different slang, he liked older celebrities, and he listened to older music. Add onto the fact that Eli came from another Universe and was a lot younger than Peter, I couldn't help but be surprised my plan had worked at all.

Peter was expected to start coming in starting this coming Monday which was a couple of days away from today. Because he was in school, he could only work part time. I planned to bring him to my side during this time and make him one of my crew and then later give him the spider venom that was his birthright and destiny. Considering I would be taking on the role of mentor over Tony, I needed to make sure his future costume didn't disappoint.

Speaking of costume, I intended to make myself a helmet, gloves, and a sword using the vibranium. For the sword I was basing the design off of the dragon slayer sword from Berserk. I couldn't make it right now, because I wanted it to be made with nano technology considering it's size. I wanted to be able to store the whole of the sword in it's hilt when not being used. I would also incorporate my lightsaber into it's design.

It wasn't going to be used as just a sword, but also a shield. The swords width would be able to hide my vital organs behind it along with other people I wish to shield if ever needed. The other reason I wanted a sword was more simple. Swinging a huge sword around like it was nothing and cutting another living being long ways from ass to head is a mans romance. I had a basic idea for the design, but nothing set in stone quite yet.

My helmet/mask was to protect my brain from being damaged like it had when the brightburn child had used his heat vision to damage it. Not wanting to have a huge target on my body saying 'Here's my weak spot' I decided to make some vibranium biker gloves as well to go over my hands. Later I would use nano technology on these pieces also, but I could not afford to wait to make them later. I needed them now. As for the rest of my body, I planned to continue to use my Titan armor until I found a better replacement.

I traveled back to the Stargate universe to work on my new vibranium pieces and heart shaped herb. Although I stopped by this universe often, a couple of my crew didn't recognize me at first. I was constantly evolving into something new and so I had to prove I was me by opening portals with my hands. Not many people could do that I figured.

Over the next couple of weeks as I studied both the Vibranium and the heart shaped herb, I got updated on what was happening in Ephyra during my absence.  According to Yuna, my Academy had opened a week and a half ago and had already started admitting select 15 year olds that had the characteristics we were looking for.

Millions of 15 year old kids from all over the world applied to the Academy. Each kid was sent a test for them to complete that was monitored to make sure they didn't have outside help. The test had 5 parts on it. Each was meant to measure their ability in each subject. The subjects were Coding, Engineering, Magic, bioengineering, and Combat. Agriculture and classes like it were secondary classes and could be added later.

We were only excepting the best of the best of this earth and each kid would have to excel in all five subjects or be a genius in at least two. Once they were accepted they would be sent a letter of acceptance with a Naquadah ring and list of items they would need to bring included. The supplies they would need to purchase were able to be purchased through the Galactic hub with an academy log in and if they could not afford a Galactic Hub, they were able to purchase it ahead of time in the shop we set up on the outskirts of Ephyra.

Of the Millions of kids that applied this time around, we only accepted fifty. Each year we would accept a new batch of kids and the kids that had come to us the year before would move on to the next grade while the new kids would fill their previous ranks.

The school itself was not in Ephyra, but on another planet. Although I had left instructions, my crew had done most of the work in creating the Academy with the help of Wall-E who was the only one that had access to the stargates other than me.

Earth currently had two stargates so we had to coordinate on the times we used ours until I found a work around. I had plans to make my own custom stargates in the future, but that would have to wait till a later date.
