"I decide where I belong and where I do not". I said as I reached for my lightsaber.
The 10th sighed. "Yes, it seems that way. If I don't confront you, you slaughter thousands looking for your technology. If I do confront you, you either kill or ignore me and then go slaughter thousands. You don't know it, but we have met many times before. I am able to meet you time and time again because you are not a fixed point in time, yet at the same time....you are. You are a bloody paradox. How can I get you to leave peacefully?"
"I get it. I'm not a fixed point in this universe because I am not supposed to be part of it, but I will always arrive at this time. Correct? As for how to get me to leave peacefully? All the tech you had seen me go after, bring it to me personally. I won't have to kill to get it then." I replied.
The 10th let out a tired laugh. "You are correct, but do you really expect me to act as your delivery boy?"
"I do, because I can 100% say for certain the alternative is what you have already seen. I do not care how I get the technology. Sure, I try not to kill people that don't get in my way, but I will kill those that do. You must also already know that I don't mean your Universe har-. "
The doctor put his hand up to cut me off. "You have already said all this to me before"
I could imagine his previous reply because...here we were, but I asked anyway. "And your reply was?"
The doctor put his hand up to his head in a facepalming motion. "I laughed in your face and said I won't give into the demands of a madman."
Raising my lightsaber I prepared to strike the 10th down.
The 10th noticing this, was about to wave his sonic screwdriver to fry the inner workings of the lightsaber, but at the last second chose not to. "Frankly, I'm tired of this back and forth. I'll get the technology you wanted. I know that this is the only time you ever show up in this Universe, so I'm not worried about you coming back and asking for more or harming others. Wait here".
The Doctor Headed into his Tardis and it disappeared and reappeared in the same spot within half a second of each other.
Coming out of the Tardis, he had a bag over his shoulder. "This is everything you went after and I did it without killing anyone. Something to keep in mind for the future."
I grabbed the bag and didn't bother looking inside it. I could always come back if it wasn't what I wanted. Opening a portal back to Ephyra I threw the bag in and then closed the portal before looking at the doctor and giving him some of my own parting advice. "Time lords can choose who they want to be in their next life cycle to some extent, when you are about to become the 13th, I recommend you use that ability instead of having a natural incarnation. That is of course, if you care about this Universe".
The doctor looked at me strangely. "I'll think on it" he replied.
Raising my timer, I opened up another random portal to a new universe. As I stepped through, I spoke to the doctor one last time. "You are by far the best version of yourself, in another life, we might have been friends."
"With friends like you, who would need enemies?" The doctor yelled back as he turned around and headed back inside his Tardis.
I must have really put him through a lot. I wish I could remember our fights like he does. Since I got what I came here for I see no reason to stick around. This was the easiest bit of tech thievery I have done so far. I basically arrived and was given gifts. I wish all my future opponents are also time travelers.
Looking around at the new world I had just arrived in, I couldn't tell what kind of world it was at first. It wasn't until I walked past my first human that I got an idea.
A man with a crook in his nose walked past me and spit on the ground as he grumbled to himself. "Filthy mutants, I can't even walk down the street without having to worry about getting killed by one now it seems".
After that I walked into a bus station and watched the tv above. Many people fled upon seeing me while others gave me weird looks. As I watched the tv I realized I was in a Marvel universe, but not my old one. It was a world where X-men existed, but no other marvel fiction. Mutants were feared, but for the most part could still walk around without being picked up and experimented on. That was of course until I arrived.
With my current level of power, I was just about as good as some of the X gene individuals in this universe. I wasn't Omega levels good, but I could hold my own for the most part here until I grab a few things and make my way back home.
Unfortunately for the X-men, their school for the gifted was the only place I could find that had mutants and it was the place I had to go. One of the perks of inheriting my fathers semi immortality is the perk of not being affected by most things that wish to do my mind harm or invade it. I would not have to worry about Charles Xavier accessing my mind as I walked amongst them.
It took me a little while, but eventually I found the school and and walked on campus like I belonged there. I looked the part and fit in amongst a lot of the people there, but from time to time I would even get a few second looks from a passing mutant.
As I was walking around a beautiful woman approached me. "Who are you? I don't remember ever seeing you around here before."
"I'm new here" I replied. It wasn't a lie, I was new to this place.
