CHAPTER 7:A GAME OF TRUTH OR DARE!

Dodging a whole bunch of sweaty drunken bodies, I made my way to Eric and Sasha only to discover that these fools weren't even aware of my presence as they were busy looking at the opposite direction.

What the hell are they looking at that they didn't even notice their awesome best friend was standing right there?

So, being the overly dramatic bitch I am, I grabbed hold of Eric's baseball hat and whacked him on the head while smirking in satisfaction when an ''Ouch!'' sound came from him before asking ''what are you fools gossiping about?'' Eric rubbed on the spot I whacked him with a sour look and I laughed.

''Gossiping?" Sasha exclaimed-- " Did this bitch say we're gossiping? We don't gossip!" She shirked "What do you take us for?'' I rolled my eyes, did she think I was born today?

''Oh really?'' They both nodded eagerly wide-eyed as if asking me to believe them, suddenly I got an idea.

''So, tell me. Who is that blonde chick wearing too much makeup over there?'' I asked pointing at the girl I saw them eyeing earlier and Sasha looked at Eric like a deer caught in red light before saying...

''Oh, that? that's Stella or Ella, her dad is the current minister of education and she's also a second year student in our school. Rumor has it that she has dated half of our school's population. And oh! It's also being said that she's dating Drew.'' Sasha finished reciting like she was reading a script and I scoffed.

''Okayyyy, definitely not gossiping!'' I teased and Sasha gasped dramatically saying... ''Hey, there's a huge difference between gossiping and staying updated alright! Not that you would know the difference anyways.'' She added that last part just to spite me but it didn't. Ha! In your face!

''Sureee, let's go with that'' I teased further and she tried to hit me with a pillow. Eric was trying to convince me so I can see from their perspectives when someone said.

''Everyone, we're gonna play a game!"--there is a lot of cheers and shouts as everyone started deliberating on what game to play and they finally settled on bear pong after what seems like forever. I refused to play of course! I won't be caught dead drinking from a stranger's naked body. My dearest 'cousin' Andrew called me a chicken for refusing but of course I flipped him off with a middle finger being the bad bitch I am. I don't think he knows how much I want to stab the bitch he's currently rubbing his tongue all over her body in the name of this stupid game. He only smirked at me when our eyes met and I glared at him heatedly.

''That was so much fun! What should we do next?'' Someone asked and another shouted ''Truth or Dare!'' Another yelled, I groaned loudly at their childish choice of games while the others cheered again. When will this nightmare end?

''Alright, who's going first?'' One chick asked as we all sat in a circle and another one I have never seen before said she would so we allowed her. She smriked like she'd just won a billion dollar lottery. It's just a stupid game, what's her deal?

''Truth or dare, Drew?'' She slurred and I wanted to bang my head on something, they're not even hiding how much they want him at this point.

''Dare'' He replied with a smirked mirroring hers.

''I dare you to French kiss Ella on the mouth for like... three minutes straight'' Jerks! They probably set this whole thing with this chick. Stella applied her lip gloss before pushing her fake boobs in Andrew's face as their lips connected. I looked away only to only lock eyes with Hossein, he looked at me apologetically so I looked away not wanting to see the sympathy in his eyes.

When they finally parted lips after making out for three whole minutes as others cheered them on like they were performing a living saving surgery, I let go of a breath I didn't even know I'd holding in.

''Truth or dare Sasha?'' An annoying voice said interrupting my train of thought. It was the Stella chick and Sasha said truth.

''What's the dumbest thing you've ever done with a friend'' Sasha popped the gum in her mouth before saying..."Oh, that's an easy one! That would be that one time I snuck out with Maya to get a butterfly tattoo on her ass and get this"---Oh, no I don't like where this is going! I signaled her to stop talking but she shrugged and continued.

"We almost got kidnapped!'' she went ahead to tell them how I thought it was a good idea to sneak out of our hostel when we were in highschool to go get a tattoo of this incredibly rare butterfly I'd seen during P.E, while others laughed as they thought it was funny Hossein looked rather concerned given how I'd narrated my troubled past to him after we got to know each other, I looked away from Hossein because I couldn't hold his concerned gaze any longer ; only to lock eyes with Andrew piercing ones. It's not exactly the kind of look I'd ever expected to get from someone like him especially if it was directed at me but it was only just for a brief moment and he was back to his normal self.

Weird!

Did I imagine that?

''Maya, truth or dare?'' Thank goodness for whoever said that. I have to lead with truth because I don't trust these kids enough to dig a hole for myself by choosing dare. My suspicion was proven right when the guy looked disappointed and I smirked.

Unknown guy:0

''Is it true that you're a virgin?'' What the hell, bitch?(sighs) Kids and their curious minds.

''If you even have to ask a question like that, then I think we all know who the real virgin is buddy'' I replied in the most bitchy tone I could muster and everyone laughed. He looked down in embarrassment. Good! You should be, my sexual activities are none of your business, jerk!

''Hossein, its your turn. T&D?'' He sighed dejectedly before saying ''Dare'' Oh you poor unsuspecting child, what have you done?

''I dare you to do seven minutes in heaven with...Amaka'' Hossein looked like he was going to faint any moment as he swallowed nervously while looking at me and I sprung up abruptly saying ''Y'know what? fuck this game and fuck you" to the guy that suggested he do that as I grabbed him by the hand and dragged him outside.

''You shouldn't have done that, Maya'' Hossein said the moment we stepped into the hallway and I sighed. He's just too nice for his own good.

''Would you rather I'd let you sucked face with what's her face?'' He scrunched his nose immediately in disgust and shivered for extra measure and I laughed.

''God no! I would have probably passed out before anything happened'' He exclaimed as I continued laughing letting myself slid down the wall I prepped both hands under my chin and he did same.

''You shouldn't complain how I handled that, buddy'' He groaned as I pat his head gently--

"Gosh! this secret is killing me, Maya. They're my best friends...my brothers. I shouldn't have to keep anything from them. I honestly don't know what I'd do without you by my side'' I let my head rest on his shoulder with a sigh before as he spoke.

''We can't help who and how we love Hossein. I know you understand why we need to keep this a secret'' Hossein sighed deeply while letting his head rest on top of mine as we both sat quietly there staring into space without saying anything.

''So... what's that about you sneaking out and almost getting kidnapped?" Hossein said a moment later and I groaned loudly hiding my face in crock of his neck, I knew he wasn't going to let me get away with it.

I did a lot of stupid stuff back in highschool including getting a butterfly tattoo on my ass as my way of rebelling against my guardians, then again I was a troubled teenager who didn't know better ways of dealing with too much hormones flowing through her veins. None of my shenanigans ever worked of course, my matrons were too stubborn to take anything I did serious enough to call them or report me to proper authorities.
