6 Making a deal with the hungry ghost

The patriarch quickly used his spirit Qi filled music notes to bind and surround the hungry ghost. The patriarch didn't let up even when he saw that the child's face was contorting in pain.

The patriarch looked deeply at the ghost and said " let's make a deal! I could completely seal you and make you live for a hundred years as a prisoner or you could be of some help for thirty years and be freed and even given a body. What do you think?"

"Hahaha you think I don't know you used most of you spirit Qi just to make this shoddy seal. If you want me to work for this child I need better terms and one body isn't enough. I need a magical treasure that can house spirits and after I'm only helping this child I need you to find me a pure yin ground."

The patriarch smiled and nodded he got a deal maybe back during the ancient era pure yin grounds were hard to find but now they were practically everywhere.

With their agreement the patriarch took out a spirit contract and wrote down all the terms. Afterwards they made a promise to the heavenly will of the Funshi world.

After the whole process was done the patriarch tried to talk to the child, but when ever he did he was met with baby noises, this made the patriarch shudder. The child who he was just talking to normally a second ago turned right back into his baby self. A five foot four inch newborn this would make anyone shiver.

The patriarch graves the child and the young girl before swiftly going down the mountain. The patriarch this time didn't need to make a barrier for them because their cultivation was above the threshold for instantaneous moment now.

When the patriarch came down the mountain he was greeted by madam Lu and Huang Huawei the sect leader of the plum blossom sect.

When he appeared in front of them he was met with gazes of confusion. Why did the patriarch appear with two young children instead of my child though the sect leader.

But, when she got closer she felt the connection she had with the child trough there blood. After the ghost resigned to its fate, the ghost stopped masking the child's bones and blood. So Huang Huawei could feel her bloodline connection with the child.

This only added to the confusion she felt. Went ahead and asked the patriarch he recounted everything that happened and left out the hungry ghost entering the child trough his finger. Even if the sect leader scanned the child with her spirit sense she wouldn't be able to find the ghost if it didn't want to be seen.

After the whole situation ended the sect leader asked the patriarch to name the child. He was their when the child went trough his transformation so it was acceptable that he names the child.

The patriarch with a smile on his face put his arms on the child's shoulders and said " from this day forth you are Shao lianhua(burning lotus),may you burn like a lotus sitting in a field of lava, may you be like a eternally burning flame! Hahahaha!" The patriarch laughed uproariously and said good three times.
