The journey of an old man

"Little Sato?" The old man was surprised to see that the promising looking young man in front of him was indeed his grandson.

"You've grown so big, I didn't even recognize you…" A tear dropped from the old man's eyes as he continued on with his words. It was a tear of happiness, which the reason for was obvious, due to the bright smile that the old man was showing while he made his way towards his grandson.

"Grandpa… We all thought you were already dead. It's been so many years, yet you've never visited. Why are you staying in this town, grandpa?" Eagerness was apparent on Sato's voice. He spoke with bright eyes, and based on the tone of his voice, it was clear that he wanted to know what had happened for his grandfather to never visit him again. There could be multiple reasons after all, such as, death, depression, or an endless journey.

*Sigh* Upon hearing the questions of his grandson, the old man couldn't help releasing a tired sigh out of his mouth.
