Bahati- The Divine Alchemist's Tale

Have you ever wondered in your geeky heart what it would be like to transmigrate to another world? Yea, I know I did. I thought this would my chance to the live out the fantasy and maybe even get a few answers to the questions I have about my birth. Even the family I had been taken from back on earth is here too so maybe we can finally get a chance to reunite and move forward from a past I don’t completely remember. New world, possible new romantic relationships, a world system with classes and skills, and a chance to grow into the woman I always thought I could be. Yea maybe transmigrating isn’t such a bad thing. That’s what I thought until I was betrayed and sent away to learn to be grateful to my betters. I am alone in a world that is hostile to my kind and my rage will make those who betrayed me regret their actions. I will find my pride and I will build up those who the oppressors have mistreated for centuries. They can have their war and their play their games but we of Astrella will take back our home new and old from the hands of those who have tried to blind and bind us from the truth. We are who we make ourselves to be. We can grow and overcome any obstacles. They just ignited my drive to win and I will win this game even if I have to unite this country to do it. My people call me Bahati for they consider me to be the good fortune catalyst they have been prayering for. Only I think I’m just an alchemist who just wants a place to call home and will reshape Baozhai with their help to make this place a home we can all claim as such. The main characters will be in a reverse harem (Fmc and 3 male mates). All romantic focus will be on fmc. No mm in the fmc's harem. There is potential for there to be depictions of other romantic relationships of various combinations represented ( examples but not limited to mmmmm/ ff/ mmmff). I will do my best to let you know at the start of a chapter of any potential triggers. Enjoy the journey. I know I am (Cover isn't mine- got it from Pinterest.)

No Match but Family Found pt 1

Adele (March 17, 2015)

The next day when I woke up, I ate the snacks and drank the water left for me on the right side nightstand. I attempted to go to the bathroom but quickly figured out I would need help with the wires and tubes connected to me. I pressed the blue call button and waited sitting up with my legs hanging over the side of the bed.

A few minutes later, a female nurse who wasn't Ms. Dana came into the room.

"Good Morning, I'm the on call nurse and my name is Ginger. What can I help you with this morning, dearie?" Ginger asked as she checked my monitors and her tablet.

"I need help going to the bathroom. The bed is too high and I have too many things attached to me. Please help me, Ms. Ginger." I requested softly my mouth and throat feeling a bit dry. "After I use the bathroom, will you please bring me some water. I'm feeling thirsty."

With a small smile and a nod, Ms. Ginger lowered the bed enough that I could more easily touch the floor. She also disconnected me from the wires and tubes then helped me to the bathroom. Feeling I could use the toilet by myself, I waved off her offer to help me in there as well. I finished up as quickly as I could.

Hearing the toilet flush, Ms. Ginger must have assumed I was done using the toilet so she asked me a question that surprised me a little.

"Dearie, I see you have a new toothbrush in the bag that was brought in with you. Would you like to brush your teeth while you are up?"

Not knowing a bag had been brought in with me, I accepted the items. The toothbrush was new so I didn't feel weird using it.

After brushing my teeth and washing my face. With Ms. Ginger's help, I got settled back in bed.

"Now I bet you are hungry, aren't cha child? It's almost lunch time and from what I see here on my tablet the lunch menu today is a turkey sandwich with chips and jello or soup, a roll and pudding. Which option would you like?" Ms. Ginger asked as she opened the blinds on the window enough to let some light in.

"I choose the sandwich option and may I have apple juice to drink?" I ask as Ms. Ginger walks back over to my bed.

"Sandwich and apple juice coming right up." Ms. Ginger presses a few things on her tablet before she looks up at me and asks another question. "Is there anything else I can get you? Would you like me to turn on the tv? Bring you a coloring book and crayons?"

"Yes, I would like a coloring book and crayons. May I have a pad of paper and a pencil too?" I request. I want to write down what personal information I do remember for Mrs. Lindon. What I remember might help her in her search for my family.

"Someone will bring up your meal in a few minutes and I will be right back with what you asked for." With that Ms. Ginger walked out, leaving my door open.

'I hope she isn't going to be gone long. I do not like having the door open like that for long.' I kept watching the door until she came back with my requested items.

I accept the items then place the coloring book and crayons beside me while keeping the paper and pencil in my hands. "Ms. Ginger, can you show me how to adjust my bed so I'm sitting up?" I ask for her help which seems to bring a smile to her face.

" Of course, child. Here on this panel you can adjust the head of the bed. Don't play with the buttons too much but you should be fine making minor changes to help you be comfortable." Following her directions, I adjust the bed into a comfortable sitting position. Ms. Ginger before leaving slides the bed table that was at the end of the bed down to where I'm situated. I nod at her in thanks before writing down what I remembered about myself.

Name: A

Age: 9

Birthday: August

Gender: Female

Birthplace: not sure but it was a small town I barely remember

Fav colors: Green and brown

Can't eat: raspberries and coconut

Family: a mom, a dad and siblings (not sure how many)

I think I'm the youngest

Looking at what I wrote, it both looks like a lot and not that much information. I hope this information will help. Just as I was placing the paper and pencil on the left side table, a male nurse came in with a tray of food. He quickly placed the food on the bed table, grabbed the trash on my nightstand then walked back out closing the door behind him without saying a word to me.

'No clue what to think about that strangeness. I hope he won't be bringing my food the next meal time.' I remark to myself as I start eating my sandwich and chips.

After finishing my lunch, I place the tray on the right nightstand then set my coloring book on the table to start working my way through the book.

'Since my head can't take the sound of a tv right now this coloring book is the only way to keep myself occupied in this boring quiet room.'

My coloring was briefly interrupted a few hours later when I was taken to get some head scans but I was quickly brought back. Before leaving for the day, Ms. Ginger brought me some more snacks and apple juice when she came to tell me goodbye and a different nurse would be on call for my hallway.

After a while I was so deep into my coloring that I startled a bit when Dr. Tharani and Mrs. Lindon opened the door and came in.

"Good afternoon, you are looking much better and I hear you haven't even asked for any pain medicine today. How are you feeling on a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being you are in horrible pain?" Dr. Tharani greets me then starts checking the machines and looking me over with a gentle smile.

I notice Mrs. Lindon comes in and sits in the same chair from yesterday. I lean over, pick up my notepad and hand it to her before responding to Dr. Tharani.

"Good afternoon, I am at a 7. I didn't think about asking for medicine. I guess I'm used to being in pain, maybe?" I responded nonchalantly but neither Dr. Tharani nor Mrs. Lindon appear happy with my response.

"So let me be clear then. Ask for medicine if you are in pain. You do not have to tolerate being in pain. I'm putting in an order for pain relief medication to be administered to you every 4-6 hours depending on your pain level. A nurse will be bringing in the medicine in any moment now so just hold on a little longer." Dr. Tharani says soothingly but I can tell by the look in his eyes he is concerned and upset. He pats my head then continues examining me.

"Child, you are healing well. Your bruises and scrapes should fade to a less noticeable level within a week. The head scan results came back that you do still have some damage but that should get better over the next few days. Your blood work came back and everything is looking good there too. Do you have any questions for me before it's Mrs. Lindon's turn to talk?" Dr. Tharani sits down in Ms. Dana's chair from their last visit as he reports on my health.

'I really like him. He talks to me like I'm smart and he uses words I can understand. He is making it easier to stay calm. I'm very happy he is my doctor'

I smile as I reach out to take his hand that he had placed on the bed as he was talking. He is surprised at first but then relaxes and holds my hand with a small smile.

"No, I have no questions. You explained everything well enough for me." I turn my head to face Mrs. Lindon and see she is copying what I wrote into her own notebook. Placing my notepad back on the side table she sits back and meets my eyes with her piercing gray eyes. She is wearing a blue dress suit today with her long grey streaked blonde hair held back with a matching blue headband.

"Hello, Mrs. Lindon. You look nice again today. I hope you are feeling well today." I greet her as I settle in for whatever we will talk about today.
