Demise

Tsagadai khankhuu killed the escapees as he was riding his horse. The enemy troops started to regain the advantage of the equipment and while the initial escapees with pickaxes and shovels looted the enemy weapons and a heated battle between the two sides is ongoing.

Dorj clenched his sword as he wiped off the blood from his cheek and held his crystal bear amulet on his chest. As he held the amulet, Dorj felt his unnatural talent for sword.

'Oh, so this is how this works!" Dorj exclaimed with wide eyes. He cut his finger by his sword and dripped more blood on the amulet. The amulet shone brighter than before as Dorj could feel more proficiency in sword wielding.

Dorj clenched his sword with confidence as he dashed forward Tsagadai khankhuu.

"Chuu!" Dorj lashed his horse.

On the other hand, Tsagadai khankhuu hastened the pace of his horse and pointed his sword blade to the incoming Dorj.

"Clang!" "Clang!" "Clang!"

The blades of Dorj and Tsagadai khankhuu collided making an echo through the battlefield.

"You traitor! Didn't my father treat you well?" roared Tsagadai khankhuu while slashing toward Dorj.

"Clang!" Dorj blocked the incoming attack.

"It was you who made a deal with a demon to curse Zuchi khankhuu!" claimed Dorj as he looked at Tsagadai with rage.

Upon hearing Dorj's statement, Tsagadai's eyes flickered. But he didn't lose his composure as he raised his sword and slashed.

"Haha! Who would believe that? You are the traitor now." Said Tsagadai

Dorj parried the attack, and he kicked Tsagadai's horse in its eyes. Upon being hit by the eye, the horse stood up on its back hooves making Tsagadai khankhuu lose his balance as he fell off.

"Thud!" Tsagadai khankhuu fell, but with high agility, Tsagadai khankhuu rolled twice toward Dorj's horse as he cut down the leg of his horse.

"Neeeeigh!!" the front leg of Dorj's horse bent. Dorj fell on the ground as well.

Tsagadai khankhuu jumped as he tries to impale Dorj on his stomach. Upon seeing Tsagadai's intention, Dorj rolled once to dodge the incoming stab.

"You bastard. If you die, my succession to the throne would have no hurdles in the future. Just die!" slashed Tsagadai khankhuu with his sword toward Dorj's neck.

"Clang!" just in time, Dorj successfully blocked Tsagadai's blade, but Tsagadai khankhuu is now pushing his blade on top of Dorj.

"Aaaaah!" Dorj roared to block the blade with his sword, or else, his neck would be cut.

Tsagadai khankhuu put all of his might to push down his blade. His veins popped on his neck as he grinned his teeth.

"If you didn't come! I wouldn't have cursed my brother!" said Tsagadai khankhuu as he pushed down.

Tsagadai's blade gets near Dorj's neck inch by inch. If there is no other person to intervene, then Dorj would surely die.

Dorj turned his head to the top of the hill. It was Jegei, his guard, pulling the string of his bow as he pointed his arrow towards Tsagadai.

"Nooooooow!!!!" roared Dorj.

'Shoot!' Jegei's arrow is released.

'Thump!'

The blade which was pushing down to cut Dorj's neck weakened a bit. Dorj met the eye of Tsagadai khankhuu. Tsagadai khankhuu's eyes were in blood rage as he coughed at blood on Dorj's face.

Even Tsagadai khankhuu is shot by an arrow on his back, he gritted his teeth and pushed down his blade again.

"BASTARD!!! I AM TSAGADAI!!" shouted Tsagadai khankhuu as he madly pushed his blade downwards.

Dorj was pushing Tsagadai away as he was parrying the blade with his own sword.

"AAARGH!!!" roared Dorj extracting all of his energy and might not get killed.

'Shooot!' Jegei has released another arrow.

'Thump!' yet another arrow has hit Tsagadai on his back of his neck. The arrow pierced his neck and the arrowhead has impaled his throat.

Tsagdai khankhuu's eyes widened in fear, as he understood that this time, it hit his vital point. It is impossible to survive this wound. The pushing force of Tsagadai stopped as he only pushed Dorj down by his body weight now.

"Glu... Ulu." Tsagadai khankhuu wanted to speak, but to avail, his throat is not working.

Dorj pushed Tsagadai khankhuu to his side.

Tsagadai khankhuu grabbed the wound on his neck and leaned on his side. Dorj saw the eyes of Tsagadai, full of fear of death and regret. His eyes are full of unwillingness to die here.

Dorj clenched the hilt of his sword.

"Considering you are a khankhuu! I will show mercy and end your misery now" Dorj impaled his sword to Tsagadai's neck and twisted his sword.

"Plump"

The wagging foot of Tsagadai lost its strength as his vitality left his body.

Dorj learned to cut down Tsagadai's head and grabbed it by its long hair.

"Your general is dead! Retreat!" Shouted Dorj with all of his might.

The troops that were clashing against the escapees halted their battle.

The escapees see Dorj raising Tsagadai's dead head above his head being bathed by the blood of Tsagadai khankhuu.

The enemy troops started to flee.

Zuchi's ger

Royal consort princess Ukhaa wept knowing that her husband dying slowly. The fetus in her belly kicked her, which made her feel sad. She is sad for her husband and kid who has never met each other.

"HAAA!" Zuchi khankhuu took a long breath

His ashen white face started to regain its vitality as redness started to get spread on his cheeks.

Zuchi khankhuu opened his eyes and sat down.

He saw his wife weeping next to his bed of him as he stroked her hair.

"Ukhaa" called Zuchi his wife.

Royal consort princess Ukhaa turned his head and saw his husband sitting. But unfortunately, the tears in her eyes made her vision blurry not making it possible to see the face of Zuchi.

"Ukhaa, I think I am fine now. I feel my lost strength has come back" said Zuchi khankhuu in a calm tone.

Princess Ukhaa wiped her tears to see her husband's face.
