But, as she goes on turning the tables. She will be encountering unexpected events that will make her change.
As Amanda went into the classroom for her first period, everyone clapped their hands and congratulated her.
"Behold! The newly appointed leader of the student council of Corona Austra University!" Sean Hudson announced.
"Gee, Thanks, everyone." Amanda grinned.
Just when everyone started to go to her, the teacher had arrived.
So they all flew back to their seats.
Just as the same, the teacher gave her best regards to Amanda.
Everyone clapped in approval.
- Shannon
"Nora wait-" Shannon chased after Nora.
"I told you Shannon. I'm done!" Nora snapped,
"Look, I'm sorry." Shannon caught up to her.
"That's all you can say? After everything?" Nora turned,
"P*ss off! I don't want to see you again." She growled.
"Wait-" Shannon tried to apologize.
But Nora stormed off.
'Oh. No. This can't be happening'
Shannon silently walked into her classroom for the first period.
- a little flashback of Shannon's past
"Shannon! Wake up!" Tessa shooked.
Before, Shannon came from the orphanage.
Her parental status unknown.
The head nanny of the orphanage told her, her mother, Sabrina Blowe, left her here.
"Your mother was the most selfish person I've ever met!" The nanny exclaimed.
"She said to me 'take this dirty kid away from me. She'll do nothing to me but being a nuisance, and I bet she'll do anything to make me look bad.' What a witch! She dresses up so fancy and covet rich people. A gold-digger, and a total sl*t. Ugh. Good thing you're a good child." The nanny sighed.
Shannon had been living in the orphanage her whole life.
She made friends, which seemed like her family.
The only thing she wanted is a FAMILY.
She hoped her mom would come back to her.
Her wish was granted when she turned seventeen.
Which made her go back on her word.
Sabrina was the worst person she'd met.
She turned Shannon into a dog.
Sabrina would make Shannon do all the dirty work.
And she have to finish it if she wanted to eat.
She can't even get a good night's sleep.
She felt like hell.
And wanted to get out.
Go back to the orphanage.
Until she met Simeon.
Sabrina was acting all nice and sweet to her when Simeon was around.
She lied to him why Shannon looked thin and beat up.
"Darling, we were so poor. We-I had to work two jobs day and night for her. She was a sweet one. She'd give me all her food so that I can sustain. She didn't care about her own. She was persistent, so I had nothing to do." Sabrina sobbed pitifully.
Shannon had no choice but to do the same.
Sabrina's gonna kill her if she wouldn't.
She finally had the life she wanted when they moved over to the mansion.
But she still felt empty.
Watching Amanda, she wanted to be friends with her.
But Sabrina wouldn't let her.
Instead, she wanted to make Shannon take her down.
Sabrina felt like she was the boss.
With Shannon as her puppet.
Shannon felt sorry for Amanda.
She didn't really wanted Edmund.
She felt sorry for what she'd done in the first place.
She never wanted to be the selfish, proud, smug, and beautiful Shannon, Sabrina had taken efforts to be.
She just want a home.
A family to live with.
A person who'd take her.
She wanted to leave this place.
But first, she needed revenge.
- class
'Even the poor can't bear this.' Tears steamed down her cheeks.
Walking down the hallway after class, Shannon kept thinking about the idea.
The idea of taking revenge.
'It's all that woman's fault.'
'She never was my mother. I don't believe it.'
Shannon clenched her fist.
"Hey." Someone tapped her shoulder.
Amanda, in her uniform, was standing behind her.
She had a soft look in her face.
'Maybe she's in a good mood.'
Then suddenly she had an idea.
'If I can get her on my side, maybe we can take her down.'
Shannon smiled.
"Hey sis! You came!" Shannon hugged Amanda.
This took Amanda by surprise.
