Chapter 17 Forgiveness

While the two sides were fighting, Sagiri breaks free and sneaks her way out of the town to confront Kagi and to talk things out to stop the war going on.

After hearing of Kagi's whereabouts, Sagiri finds a guardian and threatens to tell his father to punish him for disobeying orders from their high priest's daughter if he denies her. So she rides her way to the garden where Kagi and his men are camping for the night.

Knowing that what she did is dangerous and can bring chaos to her family, she left a note for her mother to know what she was doing.

Upon her arrival, the explorers tied up Sagiri and the guardian while waiting for Kagi.

Explorer: Sir, the child and a guardian is here. They say the girl wants to talk to you.

Kagi: Huh? What a stupid plan this is, using his daughter for a negotiation. Keep your guard up. This might be an ambush.

Sagiri: Sensei, let's talk about this please. Stop this; many people have already lost their lives.

Kagi: I'm not going to fall for your father's plan, little one. Tell me where they are now and then we will let you go.

Sagiri: I came here myself and brought this guardian with me to take me to you.

Kagi: Oh my, such bravery from little Sagiri.

Sagiri: I want you to stop this and surrender, many have died already. They died without honor and purpose.

Kagi: You don't know anything about that little one.

Sagiri: If you don't, something worse would happen even if you bring back your family.

Kagi: SHUT YOUR MOUTH! One more word from you and I will kill this guardian.

Sagiri: You are HEARTLESS! Sensei, you're a MONSTER!

Kagi: Killing this guy won't help, release him and let him bring this message to their leader. That his daughter is stupid enough to come at me and beg me to stop!

Sagiri: You will regret it, you will regret everything! The prophecy says that.

Kagi: A prophecy? Never heard of it. HAHAHAHA
