Chapter 13  The Promise

Kagi Takayama promised the resurrection of his family for him to have the chance to reunite with them. Meanwhile, Kohinoor's anger, aroused by the death of a brave warrior who fought to save them from the hands of Kagi, made him even more furious. With this, he orders the death of the Genesis Explorers and their legacy.

Much has changed in Babylon over time, especially its archipelago. Many evil spirits lurk the beautiful realm of Babylon at night, attacking those who are unwary and vulnerable. Kagi and his men travel to the spirit realm, where they trek across the valleys and forests to retrieve the Stone of Life. As the sun goes down and nightfall approaches, they build a temporary shelter in the ruins of an old farm village.

Kagi can barely contain his excitement as he can finally fulfill his promise. Meanwhile, the Guardians are preparing for their arrival for they will not let history repeat itself.
