"Sure, I promise," replied Jenny who looked very pleased. She even got a new cell phone from Alex without asking at all.

After that, she went to her room again and saw Alex smiling meaningfully at her.

Yes, he had prepared all of that since a few hours ago, more precisely after they finished, the "punishment" earlier.
