Your great granddaughter

Coral was suddenly bombarded with a lot of phone calls from some of her former friends from college after announcing that she was now married. They all new how the campus beau was into her and was hoping to propose during their graduation ceremony. He already asked for their help is secret. So her announcement caught them all of guard.

Considering how dense coral can be when it comes to romance, they knew that she didn't know about his feelings. With the ceremony being two weeks away, things might get awkward. As the valedictorian, there is no way coral wouldn't be there. There is no doubt that her husband might be present.

They had to stake him out for the sake of their darling princess. Jackson was puzzled when he saw people cursing him on the school forum and group chat. He's going to accompany coral along with the rest of the family to her school for the rest of the family. They need to protect her and hide the fact of her pregnancy while she tries to get her pheromones and scent in control.

She isn't showing now but Jackson and the rest aren't certain about the term of her pregnancy with her genes. Some pure bloods were pregnant for at least two years before they gave birth. He wants a child but not at her expense. He read the chat while Coral got ready for bed. He moved his things in her room against her protest. He can't stand being apart from her even for a moment. This intensified after they marked each other.

They haven't done anything more than that because of her pregnancy. It's not stable yet and they can't do anything to jeopardize it in any way. Seeing the way Coral is with the way she keeps unconsciously stroking her invisible belly, this baby might have more status than his in her heart even though they haven't met yet. He is not worried about it because he is blessed in the gene pool.

He can only pray that the said baby looks like a copy of him so any potential threat would know that she is taken if she takes the baby anywhere without him. He does plan to be involved and is already learning all that is from coral on taking care of a baby. Raven is hardly a baby but because of the lack of care from his father, she is underdeveloped for kids her age. He didn't stay in the pack house but he did send money to the omega.

This is what confuses him. He decided to ask Mandy about her. The last time she saw that woman is when she went to college after the whole fiasco with that woman who chose to be with his lazy brother than him. He investigated that woman and everyone he talked to said that she is a great woman who loves kids. He also trusted her because they grew up together and they went to the same school.

Even Mike and Luis had great things to say about her. So he made a deal with her to take care of the new born Raven while he goes to college. He couldn't take a baby with him and he was afraid that they may target her once they knew that he cared about her. He does send money to his other half siblings so they can be taken care of due to the lack of care from his dead beat father who only has eyes for his mistress and son.

He knows what it feels like and even though he had his grandfather, it hurt his seeing his father changing overnight like that. The betrayal hit more seeing the little boy who looked more like their father than he did. He took more of his mother's genes than his father but if you look at his grandfather 's pictures of when he was young, you would think they were twins.

He knew from feeling it how bad a betrayal hurt when he was betrayed and knew that his mother must have felt it. After all, to have fathered seven kids outside of the marriage. Although four of those were found not to be his recently through DNA testing. He did have intercourse with those women. He has six siblings including Raven. He doesn't care about the others nor does he hate them.

Kids are innocent anyway, his father and their mothers were responsible for hurting his mother knowingly which is why he waited until they grew up a little and gave them money for their education and promised to send them money until they turn 21. He doesn't personally know them nor does he want anything to do with them and they understood that. One of the women tried to reach out to him to apologize for the sake of her daughter but he quickly shut it down.

His father is the one responsible for whatever it is that she wanted and he knew that woman wanted to be a phoenix with his mother's assets. Yep, he had people watching over them back then so he knew what her motives were. His sister is the same, greedy and a tipical spoiled alpha's daughter. He hasn't seen them for years and she refused to go to college and wanted the cash.

He didn't interfere and just gave her sixty grand without any allowance. He did his job, his grandfather had left some assets in their names anyway. What surprised him was how accurate his grandfather was. The kids that were tested recently were not included in his Will. I guess he already knew at some point. He sighed and looked over to his wife who was in a daze. He was attracted by her small red lips and couldn't help but ask:

" Can i kiss you?"

Lincoln thought of what just happened and sighed. He had to continue this charade until he finds her. He packed his bag like he said he would and planned his now lifestyle while ignoring the camera hidden inside his home. He has a good guess who they belong to. All these years weren't spent in vain after all.

He was about to take a shower when he heard banging on his front door. There's only one person who would bypass his security like that. He shook his head as he prepared himself for his grandfather. He doesn't understand why this freak is still alive after all the hurt he has put them through for all his selfishness.

" Why didn't you tell me you have a child out of wedlock? " was the first thing his grandfather said.

" Good evening grandfather?" Lincoln said.

" Explain yourself young man" Dimitri yelled.

" What do i have to explain myself grandfather. And she's not an illigitimate child, rule 20 of the mating record states that children born from fated / mates or whatever the other half of a supernatural specie is considered a priority. Hence they are recorded above children born from a normal relationship on the genealogy book. That is the reason why you are here isn't?" Lincoln said.

" That Vaewolf is not going to be listed as no descendant of mine " Dimitri yelled.

" That is your great granddaughter whether you like it or not. I didn't get to chose who my fated is and most importantly, what happened between her mother and i was a one time thing. She doesn't even know about me and i have never met her. You have no control on who goes on the genealogy book just like how you couldn't control how all the other kids you had out there were recorded. I have 6 uncles and nine aunts . Two of them are a hundred years younger than me. Although my father had me with his fated , it doesn't change the fact that i will always be above your precious grandson. I already resigned from the company, you can finally fulfill your wishes." Lincoln said as he picked up his toiletries to put in his luggage.

" Is that girl that important to you that you would leave everything behind just for her?" Dimitri said trying to hide how happy he is to hear that. He tried very hard to hide his smile but how could he do it in front of him? Lincoln saw through his facade but chose not to expose him.

" This is not about her. I know what happens to vamps who lose their fated. I will slowly age with time so why not travel the world before time catches up with me" Lincoln said ignoring the smug look on his grandfather 's face. He's already used to his biased nature.

" There are alternatives you know. Getting remarried to Lukas 's mother is an option." He said.

" She's the reason i am in this predicament in the first place and you know i was forced to be with her in the first place. There is also the fact that i would have to do things against my principles which is definitely not me. I can tolerate anything except you using me for the sake of that lazy cousin of mine. I don't have anything to lose anyway so i hope you guys don't try or test me" Lincoln replied to his grandfather.

" I won't mention it again " The man answered scared by the cold gaze his grandson was giving him. Yes, no known vampire can defeat him except for the man standing in front of him. He knows that he only listens to him out of respect but that might change if he does something that reaches his bottom line. He learned that the hard way. That is the power of children born from natural fated mates.

" Good. I won't be the patriarch of our family anymore so find someone else. I already sold almost all of my properties including this one and transferred most of them to my son's name. It will reach him wherever he is. I have already repaid you guys for raising me by growing the company to where it is now. I hope you won't mention anything about owing you for raising me, i will take away everything i gave to this tribe without a single thought." Lincoln said.

" That is impossible and you know that. " Dimitri said panicking inside.

" It is, i have already spoken to those people and they understand. They said that it is a family issue and with my current mental state , i won't be able to handle it " Lincoln said seeing how angry the old man is.

" I hope you won't live to regret this" Dimitri said.

" I won't and i guess this is the last time i see you. Whatever i do after this will be on my own terms. Don't contact me and I've already informed everyone of my departure and asked them not to do anything if anyone uses my name again to ask for favors." He said.

" I know that and i appreciate everything you have done. Best of luck on your travel." He said before teleporting out of there.
