Marriage Controversy (2)

"No....I mean yes,... of course it would be nice to meet them, but we are not getting married"

  Kara said while one of Vince eyebrows was shot upward.

  For some men that simple gesture would mean an enquiry but in Vince case it meant a whole lot different from that, he was trying to relay to her how illogical, irresponsible and foolish he thought she was portraying at that moment.

   Emotional, maybe he was the one being foolish, he was the one who wasn't thinking. If by any chance he was,he would have realized that marrying her who end every ounce and hope of him having a son.

   She'd took her time to explain to him about her condition, it may lead to infertility. Having a foetus might relieve the pain but at the same time might not.

    Vince claims that he wasn't the family man type,but sooner or later he'd change his mind and particularly on having sons. She had no intention of being with someone who would hate her and her daughter.

    "This is not your country,.. you can't just order me to marry you,.. this is America,it's not done that way,.. women do have their babies by themselves all the time ",

   Kara said in one go and tried her much possible best to put her temper in check.

" that's if they have the choice of not getting married and having husband that would care for them",

  Vince said with so much certainty in his voice.

   "you may claim that Paris is liberated,but the evidence clearly says the opposite",

   Kara said more like to herself than Vince.

  "This generation, pregnant or not, women do not need men to CARE for them,.. probably in the previous generation but not now",

  Kara said stressing each of her words and Vince shooked his head and smiled towards her direction.

  "you clearly misunderstood me, intentionally ",

  Vince said and Kara squeeze her eyebrows together.

  "what part do I not understand, or more like part of 'a Husband who will care for them ' did I not understand",

 Kara said with sarcasm evidence in her voice 

   "Our Marriage",

  Vince clearly stated.

  "There isn't gonna be any a marriage or wedding to plan ",

  Kara said while feeling so much stressed.

   Even though she hasn't gained so much weight talk more of being the healthiest weight,the slight shift of weight in her body made standing truly difficult and uncomfortable for her.

  " you know what, please Am begging you let this matter be, am happy for your concern but am perfectly fine without you,... And besides am way too tired to keep on arguing with you",

  Kara said with difficulty as she tried her best to hold on.

  " you need to have some rest,we will talk more when you are feeling better or do you need anything before I take my leave?",

   Vince asked with concern but Kara nodded her head negatively.

   "very well then,... This isn't over yet, you might be partly right about the difference between us but not the Human Right part. I haven't chosen to be a father,but I will be this baby's father,... Family responsibility is not something I can abandon ",

   Vince said with so much authority and energy which must have felt like a threat for Kara.

  From any there man,she would have worried about a custody battle,or have been prepared to sign a waivers of responsibility. But then this is Vince she talking about.

  Because she was part of that responsibility he felt ,and he won't hurt her , even at a terrible cost og himself.

  "don't think too much about this to night,... You don't know the dawn until you see it rise over the desert. When things are at their worse ,beauty has it unique way of shining",

Vince said as he walked closed to her which caused his warm breath wash over her skin as he leaned closer and Kara's eyes immediately drifted closed.

  She recognized him as some controlling and ego centric arrogant person,but she didn't have any defense or words against the sensual part of his life.

  With the tip of his tongue,he traced the the contours of her lips and that's when Kara realized that he was only licking milk from her lips. 

   Embarrassment washed over her as she thought that she'd looked silly, but the evidence of the Vince's true desires was pressed into the small bulge of her tummy.

  A moan escaped her lips,he was the only person that could make her feel this way but then she couldn't let it continue because of the consequences that comes with it.

  Opening her mouth to protest,Vince knew better than to let this opportunity escape. He slide in his tongue, joining their lips in a seamless kiss. Their tongue dancing and moving in various patterns.

  The confused throbbing in her body,made her wondered if his technics of making one melt in a kiss part of his inheritance in his french family. He was way too good at it.

    Kara became happy that he didn't ask her to married him between the kiss, because she knows fully well that she would agree without thinking twice.

    Vince broke the long unending kiss to dragged in air into his lungs and Kara came back to her senses.

    "I can't...make,... Ah Mm... please you in bed,.. I haven't made ask my doctor yet,... but the answer would be a no",

  Kara stammered bringing her head down while Vince nodded.

  "No cause for alarm,... It's all right ",

 Vince said rubbing the right side of her cheek.

 Kara actually made it sound as if she could still make love with him, but then even she could, she can't because of the baby's safety. The won't have a future together,so what's the point?

    She won't let her self be controlled by a man in her life again, and Vince was a product of political upbringing meaning a whole lot....
