CHAPTER 40 - THE CELL AND OROCHI (4)

Akagi happily raised her hand while holding the black wisdom cube full of dark energy.

"Finally,...finally, it is full. Hehehehehehe...", said Akagi. "With this, Amagi-neesama will live again! Hehe…hehehehehe."

Akagi let out a very evil laugh. Her eyes shone because the hope for her to meet Amagi again would come true.

Without further ado, Akagi continued to hand the black wisdom to Orochi. A black aura flowed towards Orochi, it then shone. Indicates that it has received that energy.

"If I recall completely, aren't they need sacrifices to revive Amagi?", asked Nagato. "Then, why they still managed to do it?"

"What? Is that true, Kay?", asked Rex as he looks at Kay.

"Yeah, that's true", answered Kay. "However, there is also another alternative to that. It just that, it will take plenty of their time."

"They need one another's energy, especially if someone meets the characteristics they want. The one who somewhat has evil thought and destroying everything."

Some explosions were heard by others. They saw a man viciously sunk some siren ships. He shot one by one the ships in front of his eyes regardless of his surroundings. He also let out a vicious laugh as he fired using his esper power.

"Sunk *****, sunk!!", shouted Kuroki while shooting the siren ships. "Hahahaha…ships go brrr brrr!!"

"This idiot!!", shouted Chen as he managed to lock Kaga using chains. The chains constrain Kaga tightly, leaving her in dire state.

"Tch, release me human!!", shouted Kaga as she tried to release herself.

"I leave this girl to you, Rex!!", shouted Chen as he immediately going towards Akagi.

Several swords were taken from his watch and flew towards Akagi, hoping it would thwart Akagi's efforts to revive Amagi. However, it is too late. All the energy was successfully absorbed by Orochi.

KLANG!! KLANG!! KLANG!!

Suddenly, they saw a woman appear in front of Akagi. Her face is very familiar with Sakura Empire. A woman who is highly respected and loved by everyone in the Sakura Empire. A woman they dreamed of meeting again. None other than, Amagi from Sakura Empire.

"Amagi…", said Nagato as she saw Amagi again.

"Amagi-sama."

"Amagi-neesama."

Those from Sakura Empire were deeply moved when they saw Amagi's face. They know he is the cause of their problems but seeing Amagi once again makes them forget for a moment.

Kay and the others could see Amagi's very beautiful and charming face. The eyes are very attractive, occasionally, the wear is very enchanting in appearance.

"Wow, what a beautiful lady", said Kuroki while shooting the siren ships.

Akagi looked at Amagi's face, smiling cheerfully at her. Tears fell from her cheeks as she missed Amagi too much. The longing for Amagi is finally cured when she can meet her again.

"Amagi-neesama…Amagi-neesama. Finally, I…", said Akagi. "Finally, I….eh."

Amagi smiled at Akagi, and suddenly a bullet flew towards Akagi. Those who were close to Akagi could only see that Amagi suddenly shot her own sister.

"Amagi-neesama?", said Akagi, a moment before the bullet reached her.

KLANG!!!

The bullet deflected as Kay managed to use his sword while carrying Zuikaku. He as soon as possible made a swing towards Amagi, only for Amagi to distance herself between them.

Akagi felt very shocked, she with a feeling of wonder immediately asked Amagi.

"Amagi-neesama…why you attacked me?", asked Akagi as she couldn't believe it. "You didn't do that on purpose right, Amagi-neesama?"

Amagi just kept quiet, not answering Akagi's question. In Amagi's eyes, it was as if she had forgotten, no, it was as if they had never met.

"You! You are not her!", shouted Akagi. "Who are you?"

Kay stands in front of Akagi, trying to protect Akagi from Amagi. Then, he raised his sword towards Amagi in a serious tone.

"Unfortunately, she is indeed Amagi", said Kay. "In fact, she is your sister, Akagi. But her true nature is worse than that."

"Am I right, Orochi? Or your true name is, Amagi Alter."

"Amagi Alter?", asked Akagi in confusion.

"Did you miss me, Amagi Alter?", asked Kay. "Especially the things that I had done to you?"

Amagi suddenly gave a scary smile. Some aura of blackness surrounded Amagi while Kay looked calm and ready to face Amagi.

"Your face ... are disguting to watch, Kay", said Amagi Alter. "Because of you ... because of you ... I have to suffer."

"But, not this time. This is time, are you turn to suffer!!!"

ROARS!!!

The black serpent has returned, roaring at them fiercely. The moment the cell is here, Orochi starts to shake liked an earthquake.

Chen, who had just arrived on top of Orochi, quickly grabbed Akagi and jumped out of the ship. Kay also without delay continued to follow Chen while holding Zuikaku.

"Are you alright, Zuikaku?", asked Kay.

"Yes, I'm fine", responded Zuikaku. "Don't worry about me."

"What about both of you?", asked Kay at Chen and Akagi.

Akagi just kept quiet in Chen's grasp. Probably that she is still shocked by Amagi's actions against her.

"Yup, still fine, Kay", said Chen. "Well, I don't expect to see the cell immediately. And, it's very huge."

Chen, Kuroki and Lucian reunite with Kay when they successfully complete their task. Apparently, Rex managed to save all the girls and take them aboard the Taihou. Meanwhile, Lucian, who was assigned to play with high-class sirens, managed to give Kay some time.

Observer, Tester and Purifier go to Amagi after realizing that they have been played by Lucian, using the power of illusion.

For Kuroki...well, at least he did the job. Only to make it worst.

"Well, that is a huge cell there. Not to mention the beautiful lady there.", said Kuroki. "So, did I miss something?"

"Yeah idiot! You miss everything!!", shouted Chen. "Did you knew that thing are your entire fault?"

"What the…what did I do to deserve this treatment?", asked Kuroki. "I already done my task. I should receive a nice treatment for that!!"

Meanwhile, Chen and Kuroki started fighting with each other. The black serpent began to roar at them and moved towards Orochi.

"Erm ... Kay, that cell is moving toward that ship," said Rex while pointing his finger at Orochi. "That's not good news, is it?"

"Nope, and I know what's going to happen next", said Kay. "Get ready everyone!!"

Amagi stood over Orochi suddenly floating in the air. Orochi turns into some wisdom cubes and flies towards the black serpent. They joined together, creating a massive yet dangerous creature.

"This time, with the power of this creature, you will die!", shouted Amagi Alter. "Behold its power, Kay!!"

ROARS!! ROARS!!

The black serpent combines with Orochi, equipped its weapons and the main danger, the missiles. Its starts to roar, ready to crush Kay and the others.

"Well, we are ******", said Kuroki as he looks at the cell. "Aren't it?"

Zuikaku embraced Kay tightly, feeling scared when she saw the creature. Not only Zuikaku, the other girls felt shivering seeing the black serpent in front of them.

"Master, please be alright", said Belfast while holding Wales. "I want to fight alongside with you, but I don't have enough courage."

"It's not just you, Belfast", said Wales. "We also want to fight with Kay. But, we don't have the courage and strength like commander. We just bring problems to him."

"He will be fine", said Taihou, suddenly starts talking to them. "Shikikan-sama knows what he needs to do. He will kill that creature., just liked before."

Taihou's red eyes show courage and truth in her statement, making Belfast, Wales and others believe in her. They believe that Kay was able to kill that creature and save them.

Kay looks at Zuikaku, smiling at her and telling her that it will be fine. He knows what he has to do now. Since the cell is already fused with Orochi, the requirements are being fulfilled.

"Give me five minutes", said Kay to the others. "I need to get ready."

"What do you mean, you need five minutes?", asked Kuroki. "You're an element! Just kill that thing!"

"Ah, shut up! What do you think he is doing right now?", shouted Chen.

"I don't know, but it's pathetic", answered Kuroki.

ROARS!!

"Alright, five minutes isn't?", asked Kuroki. "I can do that. It's pretty…easy"

BANG!!!

One of the black serpent's heads suddenly attacked Kuroki, making him fly far to Taihou. Loud bang was heard, indicating Kuroki collided and crashed hard. Wales, Belfast and others aboard were shocked to see Kuroki being attacked and thrown here.

"Are you alright, human?", asked Nagato.

"Son of the *****", said Kuroki while rubbing his head. Then, he raises his hand, signaling Rex to teleport him back to Kay.

Tap…

"Hey, about that five minutes, I can give three minutes at most", said Kuroki.

"Make it four, please", ordered Kay. "Or we will be dead."

"What the…, fine!", shouted Kuroki. "It's better be worth it, Kay!"

Kuroki pulled out his gun and fired several shots at the cell. Using the power of his esper, he easily moves rapidly above sea level. Although he almost suffered an injury when the cell did not sit still and continued to attack Kuroki which attracted its attention.

"Four minutes, right? That's more than I can do", said Chen as he activates his esper power.

KLANG!! KLANG!! KLANG!!

Some chains have locked the movement of the black serpent, making it hard to move. However, Chen had difficulty preventing the cell from moving as it was too strong for him.

ROARS!! ROARS!!

"Let me help Lucian, since my esper isn't really helpful for this kind of job", said Rex.

"Lucian…will…help", said Lucian.

Rex touches Lucian, sending them close to the black serpent. Lucian uses his illusory power to give Kay time to get ready.

Kay looks at Zuikaku, smiling at her before starting to get serious.

"The path that I go, will follow my own desire", said Kay. "And the cell that wondering here, will be punished by my own judgement."

ZAPP…ZAPP…ZAPP…

A lighting circle appears, with nine swords surround and circling at Kay.

"This is the perfect moment, Wiseman", said Kay while holding the tenth sword that appears in front of him. "All requirements have been met."

ZAPP…ZAPP…ZAPP…

The swords stab the lighting circle continuously, matching liked keyholes. Then, Kay stabs the last sword, unlocking the weapon with light reaching the sky.

The sword slowly appeared in front of Kay. It has a dragon head and a long grip with a nice touch. Enormous power can be felt when Kay holds the sword. The name of the sword is Dragonlair.

Kay slowly raising Dragonlair towards the sky.

"Let me tell you"

"Enormous power come with huge responsibility"

"Yet people misused their powers to destroy each other"

"And, my Element can destroy the world"

ZAPP!!

A cannon appears from Dragonlair's mouth, shooting a lighting beam towards the sky and creating a huge lighting sphere that slowly getting bigger and bigger.

Rex as soon as possible teleport his friends to Taihou, after realizing Kay is ready to unleash his last attack.

"The power that will bring the judgement"

"Yet, still suffer from the regret."

"The power that can bring happiness."

"Yet, this hand will never save them."

"The power that can end their despair."

"Yet, killing is the only option left."

"Fear to regret, yet painful to swallow."

Kay looks at the serpent and unleashes the last attack as he slowly pointing Dragonlair at the black serpent.

The lighting sphere covering the sky, full with lighting energy that capable to destroy the cell in one hit.

"Transcend Light"

The moment Kay lower Dragonlair towards the cell, the lighting beam coming out from the huge sphere. The lighting beam reaching the black serpent just a mere second and turning that creature into ash.

"Two gone and three more to go", said Kay as he fell at the sea level. With Zuikaku is still embracing him, he is currently floating and feeling very tired.

The black serpent is not a threat anymore. Sakura Empire has been successfully rescued, although it is not Kay's job, but he has fulfilled his promises and responsibilities.

"Amagi Alter ... is missing", Kay said in his heart. "It is possible that she managed to escape with other high-class sirens."

Kay tries to get up, only to be hugged by Belfast, Wales, Prinz Eugen and Shoukaku who suddenly go towards Kay when they see the black serpent successfully killed.

They rushed towards Kay, feeling very happy and relieved to see Kay again.

"Welcome back, commander", said Wales. "It's good to see you again."

"You're really make us worried, master", said Belfast while she embraced Kay.

"Thank you, shikikan", said Shoukaku while looking at Zuikaku. "Thank you for helping Zuikaku again."

Kay sees Wales, Belfast and Shoukaku happy to see him back. Not only them but all the girls from Azur Lane and Sakura Empire also cheered to see Kay manage to beat the cell.

Kawakaze manages to capture Kaga while Akagi remains silent, most likely she is still shocked by what happened. Akagi wants to meet Amagi again, so she is willing to betray her allies. Only to be played by high-class sirens.

"Amagi-neesama", said Akagi.

Nagato was only able to watch Akagi pensively alone. She was unable to say anything despite she is her leader. Sometimes, it's better to stay quiet and leaving they alone to think.

"Sorry to make you worried, Bel-chan and Pow-chan", said Kay.

Belfast and Wales looked at Kay very strangely after hearing the nickname by Kay.

"Bel-chan / Pow-chan?", said Belfast and Belfast simultaneously.

Before Kay could answer their question, Prinz Eugen suddenly grabbed Kay's cheek and she watches him with a sweet smile. Kay began to wonder when Prinz Eugen brought her face closer to him.

Prinz Eugen kissed Kay in front of everyone, to their surprise. A rather long kiss can be said by Prinz Eugen. When she had finished kissing him, she drew a sweet smile.

"What!", said Belfast and Wales.

"Ara…ara", said Shoukaku.

"Damn...", said Kuroki as he watches in 4k.

Before Kay could say anything, a girl happily came to embrace Kay, It's Taihou. Kay could feel Taihou's chest clinging to his cheek. Then, he looks at Taihou and was a little surprised.

"Shikikan-sama, finally I managed to meet you!!", shouted Taihou as she embraced Kay.

"Taihou…you really have an amazing growth", said Kay as he tried to release himself from Taihou.

Belfast and Wales just wanted to fight with Prinz Eugen and Taihou but were stopped by Shoukaku. She pointed her finger at Zuikaku who was still in Kay's arms, sleeping soundly.

They both changed their minds and were patient with both troublemakers. Kay stroked Zuikaku's hair, remembering the events that had already taken place in this world.

"Well, we will stay in Taihou's ship", said Rex. "We will meet you there after you finish."

Rex brings Chen and Lucian first, leaving Kuroki to watch Kay for a moment.

"Yout're really getting everything, Kay", said Kuroki. "Well, I guess you did the hard work compare to us."

"Yeah, I really need a long break", said Kay as he feels really tired.

With two cells successfully killed by Kay, there are only three left for Kay to complete his task in this world. It's a long journey, not gonna lie.

Kay removed two jade broaches from his watch. The jade broaches that very familiar for him and the others two girls. There is still work that Kay needs to do. However, he wanted to rest for a while.

"All fleets already returned to Azur Lane, commander", said Helena throughout the communication. "Nagato and the other representative will follow us later. We will meet you again at Azur Lane."

"Alright, thank you, Helena", said Kay as he closes the communication.

Kay is now on board Taihou, meeting with his friends before returning to Azur Lane.

"Welcome back, Kay", said Chen. "You did a great job."

"Thank you", said Kay. "Now, let us move to main topic, shall we?"

They talked to each other while Taihou brought some glasses of water for them. Their discussion is about the location of the cells that are still vague. But Kay already managed to guess the third cell.

"By the way, Kay, based on what Taihou said, there are four main faction here which are Royal Navy, Eagle Union, Sakura Empire and Ironblood", said Rex. "Since you already decided to guide them, do you want to become their leader after all?"

"Well, that are them to decide", said Kay. "I'm just doing my thing basically. However, I noticed that these girls need me and I also need them. This world is big after all."

"That kind of surprising", said Chen. "Well, I also heard from Taihou and you really have bad relationship with Sakura Empire and Eagle Union. You handle them more than they deserve and if it was me, I rather silence them."

"Hey, they are lots of beautiful girls here", said Kuroki. "Of course, he will treat them well."

Then, they are laughing together, just liked before they arrived here.

"I will choose, Sakura Empire", said Kay.

"Can I ask why?", asked Chen.

"Well, I already make a promise with someone", said Kay. "But, that's not the main reason why I choose Sakura Empire."
