After the surge of light there was nothing, for sometime Azathoth did not exist. And then we cut to sometime in a few years. In a village in the mortal realm.
It's just an early morning, there is dense fog everywhere. A young woman in a dark raincoat runs up hill to the church and there he puts down a basket. In the basket there is a baby and he leaves a letter. As she cries, she take the baby and then gives it a kiss to the forehead.
"My little boy I'm so sorry, sorry but mama ain't gonna be there to watch you grow into the strong man your father was. I hope you overcome this I can't bare the thought of see you like this anymore." As the the young lady was saying this, there were tears flowing down on her delicate face.
And with that she ran of, tears flooding her face and the cries of the baby going on none stop.
After sometime, a nun came out of the church because of the cries. She was a woman in her late 20's. Black hair and kind expression that showed that she was in deed concerned. She took the basket and looked in side there was no note, just the crying baby.
"So you were left alone, poor thing. Well the are a lot of outcasts here so you'll feel right at home." the nun said with an angelic voice.
After that they went into the church. There was noise coming from the far end of the hallway, as she walked she was looking at the boy and the baby had stopped crying and was looking at her.
" So what your name little man?" she asked as if the baby would really just right up answer her. But he only giggled and raised his little hand to her. The nun gave an angelic smile as they reached the other end of the hallway.
As they entered the room it was chaos children making noise, shouting and running around like maggots. This went on for about ten seconds till one of them saw her. It immediately went silent.
"Who started it?" she asked.
"It wasn't me, I didn't do anything..."a little girl said, loudly over and over again.
"Like who would believe that." said an older boy in the far corner of the room.
"It's like you don't even lesson when you are told to do something. No wonder your all ended up here." a glummy girl said as she looked in to a bowl of steaming porridge.
"You are here too glummy don't act all high and mighty." one of the other older girls said.
"..."
As they continued with the arguments one of them asked."Was that what was outside? "
"Yes. Someone left him there, don't know who would do such a thing to a little cute baby, in such weather." she said.
All the others laughed and one guy said "What did you think they would do knock on the door and ask politely if they could leave you with there baby."
She then ignored them and went to the table in the clear space in the room. She took out the baby and looked at him.
The baby had white hair and pale skin, apart from that he had a birth mark on his right chick that looked like a scar that extended to the right side of his neck. There was a little red in his hair around his front left side.
The nun felt an unusual sensation coming from the baby. She took a step back and aimed her right hand towards the child and chanted.
"Oh, divine light reveal that which the naked eye can't see, by your grace let me view the world in your eyes,Holy eye." with that see could view the presence of mana.
She was immediately shocked. The kids all looked at her and one asked. "What is it,sister Lilly"
"Nothing to worry about" she said as she then took the baby and exited the room. Everyone was shocked but they just brushed it of.
Lilly took the boy to the priest to have a talk with him.
As she arrived the priest was doing routine early morning workouts, sister Lilly pushed the door open and said,"We have a problem."
The priest looked at her in surprised expression and went, "It's not like you to freak out what is it?" she then told him about what she saw and the priest casted the same spell Lilly had cast before. He was shocked by the results.
"You know we don't have the resources to save him, and even if we try, there is no 100 percent to tell if he would survive."he said in a drowned voice.
" Even if that's the case we must try we can't just let him die."said Lilly as he held the boy in his hands," OK, I'll find out someone but don't get too attached. "the priest said as he put his hand on the boy's hand.
After that morning the priest left the church, at the moment Lilly was in the bedrooms preparing a bed for the little newcomer.
One of the kid named May enters the room and looked at the sleeping boy. "What's wrong with him, is he sick?" she asked.
Lilly looked at her and said "Yes. It's an exceptional rare disease known as mana overload. Its when a person has a strong mana generation that the vessel can't hold it in. Eventually their bodies begin to collapse, until they are nothing."
"I see but he will be alright, Father Bondman will will find a way to cure him right?" the girl plead.
With a smile she answered "Yes. Yes he will."
They both looked at the kid as he sleeps peaceful.
