Chapter 1: Cave

"Kill him!" 

I ordered with a ferocious look towards the scapegoat, kneeling before me. The guy standing next to me, instantly pointed a gun in the direction of the fool who was on his knees, pleading with me. 

"Boss please, I promise never to do it again. Give me a second chance!" With teary eyes, the guy on his knees pleaded for his life, whilst rubbing my feet. 

These are the kind of people I detest the most. They will do something bad intentionally but ask for forgiveness, knowing that their acts are unforgivable. 

"Didn't I point out my rules to you all when you were being recruited?" I stared into his eyes with all seriousness and asked. 

"You did boss... I never knew what came over me that made me steal from you! Please forgive me, it will never repeat itself." 

"Tom?" I moved closer to him and used my right hand to draw him up from the floor. "You don't know what came over you right? Don't you worry, I will remind you!" 

Tom began to tremble as he heard my words, that he couldn't look me in the eyes. His both hands were tied to the back, and his head was buried down with lots of confusing thoughts going on in his mind. 

"Look me in the eyes!!" I suddenly yelled at him, and my eyeballs changed out of anger. My eyes became red that they look like, my soul is disappearing.

My voice echoed all through the cave, and everyone in there became scared. The water that was dripping slowly to the ground, ceased at once as my voice broke out.

Tom quickly raised his head and continued staring into my eyes. He already knows he is done for as soon as our eyes meet because my ability to see through someone's mind is top-notch. 

I slowly move around him in a circle and twirl my right fingers at the back of his head with my eyes closed. I haven't moved more than an inch when Tom suddenly screamed out in pain and fell back to his knees. 

"Noooooooooo!!" 

His voice made everyone in the cave take a serious deep breath with much anxiety written all over their faces. I know how scared they are as they watch what's happening to Tom, and I could guess that they won't even dare think of betraying me in any way.

"Check his pulse!" I instructed with a commanding tone, and two guys rushed over to check on Tom. 

"He is still breathing, boss!" One of them replied without looking into my eyes straight. 

"Take him to the darkroom, and tie him down!" 

Immediately they heard the darkroom, the two of them locked eyes, and I could hear their hearts, beating so fast. They are aware that no one enters the darkroom and comes out alive. 

"Should I do it myself?" I asked with a raised brow, as they kept staring at each other. 

"No boss, we are about to do it now!" They both snapped out of their thoughts and carried Tom away as I instructed them.  

"This should serve as a lesson to you all... If any of you go against my rules, this is what will happen to you! So, be careful!" I glared at all of them and angrily walked out of the cave... 

By the time I got to the exit route of the cave, a black car was already waiting for me. I immediately hopped in, and the car drove off. 

                          ...

"Sir, we are here at the hotel." Mr. Gary gently taps me, and I open my eyes. After we left the cave, I told him I would be taking a nap, and he should alert me when we get to our destination. But it seems we got here earlier than I expected. 

"Have you checked around? Is it okay for me to go inside now?" I asked while loosening my tie. I pulled off my gray suit jacket and rolled up the hands of the white shirt I was putting on. I quickly loosen two buttons from the shirt, and my bare chest was out. 

"I already did sir." Mr. Gray answered with much certainty. 

"Okay, give me the car key and go home." 

"But sir, you would be going to the company very early tomorrow morning, and your dad would be there as well." 

Mr. Gray seems hesitant to give the car key to me. Well, I don't blame him, he is only following the instructions of my dad, about not allowing me to drive myself yet. 

"I know my dad will be present tomorrow morning, and that's why I'm asking you to go home now. I will talk to him myself!" 

"Alright, sir..." He immediately got down from the car after handing over the key to me. As he left, I hopped down and walked into the hotel.

"Good evening sir!" The receptionist greeted me with a smile on her face when she saw me walk in. 

"Evening dear... Is my guest still around?" I smiled back at her, before asking a question. 

"Yes sir!" 

"Okay, see you later!" I winked at her and headed towards my room. 

When I got to the entrance of my room, my phone suddenly began to ring. When I checked it, it turned out to be my dad. I silenced the volume of the phone and returned it to my pants pocket.

I know what he is about to tell me, so, it's better not to pick his call tonight anymore. I took a deep breath and then knocked on the door. 

As I was about to knock the second time, I heard a click, and the door opened. What I saw before me, made me gulp down some saliva. 

I slowly dropped my hand from the door and stared in shock. I believe I was just too nervous or so much in shock at seeing Jasmine, naked. I wanted to resist letting her know just how much power her nakedness, her stark, feminine, sexual, awe-inspiring nakedness affected me, but I couldn't. 

I was also aware that this is the very first time I would see her opening the door, naked. The thought made me chuckle inwardly, my thoughts amusing me but I'm also angry at the same time.

"Why are you not putting on clothes?" I stepped into the room and locked the door immediately. 

"Waiting for you..." Jasmine uttered with a seductive voice, as she gently bit her lower lips. 

"What if I'm coming with someone else?" I walked over to the bed and questioned her with much anger in my voice. 

"Common Jaden, I've known you for a while now... You would never bring anyone here with you!" She hugged me from behind and placed both of her hands on my chest. 

"Still, we should take some precautions! What if it's someone else at the door?" I drew her out of my back and faced her.

"iish," She instantly put her right finger on my lips to shut me up. "Let's enjoy the moment as always!" 

She rested her upper arms on my shoulders, her face close to mine. She kissed me on the lips and then reached with her right hand beneath my pants to grab my hard cock. 

I let out a small grunt of surprise. She never took her eyes off mine as she began stroking me, retracting her body from mine, and then gently pulling my pants...

Before she could finish pulling the pants down, I slowly pushed her on the bed and made my way into her...

**Phone Ringing**

"Who's calling?" 

I gently rubbed my eyes and picked up my phone from my side. As I looked up to check who it was, I saw the time and I jumped out of the bed with fright. 

"It's past 8 in the morning already!" I muttered in shock and ran into the bathroom. Jasmine was still sound asleep, so I didn't bother waking her up. 

I took my bath in less than two minutes and came out to get dressed. After I was done preparing, I rushed out of the room and headed towards my car...

It took me almost an hour before I finally got to the company. I parked the car and hurriedly got down. 

As I stepped down from the car, the first person I came across was my Secretary. She has been outside for the past few minutes, calling and waiting for me.

"Good morning sir," She looked worried as she greeted me.

"What's happening? Why do you keep on calling me?" I walked over to her and we both headed into the company. When we got inside, everyone focused their eyes on me and kept whispering to each other. 

"The meeting is about to be over, and your presence is highly needed there, sir." She informed me as she led the way to the conference room. 

"Really?" 

Immediately we got there and I was about to enter, I saw my dad coming out of the room. I paused and gave my Secretary a hand signal to leave us alone. 

As she walked away, my dad gave me a scornful look and grabbed my wrist angrily, then he drew me over to his office.  

"What the hell were you thinking about for not attending that important meeting?" He yelled at me and slammed his hand on the table.

"I was attending to something important." I bow my head in guilt as I replied to him. 

"What could be more important than this meeting? Tell me Jaden! Or you were busy flirting around as usual? Didn't you see my calls?" He let out a grunt while glaring at me.   

"I'm sorry dad, it won't repeat itself." 

"This is what you've been saying all this while without turning a new leaf! Aren't you worried about the company or what? You know what I've been going through concerning your Mom's disappearance for the past few years, why are you acting this way?" He lowered his voice and went to his seat. 

As he mentioned my mom, my mood changed instantly. I became angrier and didn't want to listen to him anymore. 

"Sorry dad, I need to go to my office now!" 

I had a disgusted look on, and he knows for sure why I'm angry. I don't want to remember the woman who abandoned me for years and didn't bother to come to see me even for once. 

"Hmm, are you still angry with your mom?" He sounds calmer this time around. 

"No, and I don't want to talk about her, please! Later dad..."

Before he could respond to me, I walked out of his office and headed to mine. I was full of anger as I remember how she didn't even care about me before she disappeared into the thin air all of a sudden. 

Right from my childhood, my mom has never been there for me. She hated me so much because of the power that she lost after I was born. I think she felt like I was the cause of why her power was gone. 

I heard she was one of the most powerful vampires in her family before she lost those powers after she gave birth to me. Still, that doesn't give her the right to hate me like that. 

I believe there's more to the issue than I could ever think of, and I plan on finding out the truth myself. 

"How was it, sir?" 

My Secretary's voice brought me out of my thoughts, and I realized I was already at the entrance of my office.

"Huh? It's fine, you don't have to worry about anything. I want to be alone for now!" I informed her. 

"Alright, sir!" She turned and left.

I walked into the office and locked the door. As I was about to sit, my phone suddenly vibrated. I took it and saw a new message. 

"We found your mom! Call me as soon as you see this message..." 

My face brightened up as I saw the content of the message, and I seem happier than I thought I would be…
