Chapter Two Sinking boat
" What is happening?"
Donald asked as soon as he saw that the boat had stopped moving and it wasn't just him, everyone was also busy asking their questions and thereby creating murmurs everywhere.
Waves of terror surge through his vocal cords, rendering his discordant voice nothing more than a hoarse whisper. Anxiety surfaced, as terror choked the air around him.
" Why did the boat stop moving?"
" How did my daughter know that this was gonna happen? "
After asking himself those questions, he sighed. He should have listened to his daughter in the first place but this was the only opportunity he had to put his family in a better condition.
All through his life, he has been looked down upon, taken as someone that will always remain as worthless as ever but when he saw the email, a little hope came in and he began to see himself in a brighter side of life.
He remembered how he was abused by his wife's mother for being so poor, broke, and disowned. His marriage with Karen was a total mistake. They met at a club so drunk and mind assented, they had a one-night stand, and boom, Karen was pregnant.
He tried to find a way to solve the problem but before he knew it, Karen had been packed out of her house and was brought to him by her family to marry. The insult he received that day was nothing to compare about.
After the incident with Karen's family, his own family disowned him and collected everything from him for damaging their family's image. The only thing that was left for him was that tiny cottage that had already become old.
He remembered how he worked and suffered day and night just to provide the necessary things needed for the family and none of their family ever asked of him.
So when he saw the email his heart was happy and knew that their suffering and disgrace were about to come to an end.
" I think we are hit by something".
Donald heard someone answer his question, bringing him out of his head. He turned to look at the person and saw a woman with red hair standing close to the sea and looking at it.
The woman was average and could be in her late twenty-eight. He walked closer to her to see her face.
" Did you see what hit us ?" He asked as soon as he reached where the woman was.
The woman raised her shoulders and dropped them immediately " Nope, but whatever it is that hit us must be very huge and…."
The woman didn't finish with her statement when she was interrupted by the commotion going on at the back.
They both looked and saw a man with tattoos drawn all over his arm holding the Captain or the person who was in charge of bringing them over to the company so tight at his neck, choking him.
" I know what this is all about" the man with tattoos growled while still holding the man's neck so tight " you brought us here to die isn't it?"
"That's….not …true. The boat ..stopped moving.. by itself..'' The Captain's voice was so crackly as he was losing short of air. His face was already turning pale and his veins could be seen popping out of his head.
" Then why didn't you check the boat before bringing us to our doom?"
The man didn't wait for the captain to finish before he fired another question at him but his hands on the Captain's throat didn't allow him to speak.
" Will you stop that asshole!. instead of you using your dumb brain to think of what to do at this moment, you are here creating a nuisance"
A voice was heard at a corner and the man stopped choking the captain and turned towards the direction he heard the voice.
When he looked, he saw a woman with blonde hair holding a cigarette on her right finger, her hair was so short that it was almost looking like a man's hair.
She looked rough and could be in her late twenties. She was the type of person people could consider gay due to her style of dressing and a skull tattoo that was drawn on her left arm.
The man walked towards the woman and smiled wickedly when he looked at her " Bitch, don't make me throw you into this ocean so you can be the first to die"
The woman scoffed " well, let's see you try It. Death means nothing to me nowadays "
She stood in front of the man in a challenging manner and if nothing was done at this moment something might happen.
Donald, who was standing close to the red-haired woman and was watching the whole show, rushed towards them to separate them because he knew what might happen if he was a bit late.
" Hey guys stop it, we need to start finding a way to make this boat start moving again"
He tried to make the woman shift back a little but the blonde woman stood on her ground.
While everyone was still looking at the show that was going on, they were hit multiple times this time by the same thing that hit their boat the last time and their boat started turning upside down.
" Aaaaaaah!!!..... we are sinking!!!"
As the boat was turning, they were also falling into the water one by one and when the boat was completely turned upside down, it sank into the bottom of the ocean.
With the speed they used in falling into the ocean, they went deep inside the ocean but with little strength, they were able to make it to the surface.
After they were all settled at the surface of the water, five figures came out of the water. These figures look like sharks but with a big difference.
These sharks were black and their body was as if they were made of black metal. Their teeth were arranged in order and were all pointed.
The sharks stare at them and they stare at the shark as if they were in a staring competition. They stayed like that until the sharks started attacking.
