Wren And The Maleficent Warriors.

Before Wren knew it, he was being sent with the Maleficent warriors of the king. The princess Castile had gone to meet him. She adjusted his cloth and dressed him up. For some reason, Wren's cheeks were hot red. He never realized that he and the princess were that close.

He was still trying to understand a lot of things anyway.

Why was he so relaxed in that fantasy world? He wondered all the time, and then continued to act like be belonged there.

"Wren, please make it back alive." Castiel said to him. Her eyes glinted with fear, and now, wren could feel his stomach churn.

What was so scary about the Forbidden Forrest?

They were escorted to the gates, the people from the royal house as well as the villagers of Varidian.

The king bid them goodluck. Amongst them, Wren could see Aric grinning at him wickedly.

The last image he suddenly wanted to see was that of Castiel before the gates shut close. Now, they were inside the woods all alone.

He was all alone with gruesome warriors! He looked around and saw all faces glaring at him. He cleared his throat.

"Hello everyone, I'm W--"

"You listen to us, and listen good." The only lady in their midst said, frowning at Wren as if they were enemies. He didn't even know her!

"If you want to survive," she continued. "You do exactly as we say, okay?"

Wren nodded. "But, I don't know your names. A little introduction won't hurt, will it?"

The lady hissed and walked away from his sight. The other one slightly younger than him followed immediately to meet the lady. He was left alone with the older man now.

"So, I'm Wren. And you?" Wren said, waiting for the man to insult him or walk away as well.

Instead, he spoke calmly to him. "Orion, the great wizard." He said, and Ween blinked at what he had just heard.

"Wizard?? Ha! Yeah right." Wren chucked. He noticed the man was not laughing, so he kept quiet.

"That girl, she's the daughter of a Wichelen, and the young man, he's the son of a great warrior. They're names are Roan and Kian respectively." Orion said.

"Wichelen? Wich--what's a Wichelen?"

"And she's right. Just be calm and listen to what we say if you want to survive here. And keep quiet too." Orion said.

Wren couldn't keep quiet, how could he be with a Wizard and a Wichelen(whatever that mean)? Wait, a Wizard? Weren't those just a myth?

Then again, he was in a medieval kingdom that didn't exist in real life.

He sighed and followed them into the woods.

They walked for hours in silence before wren had to ask. "What are we trying to fetch exactly?"

Orion was the one that replied. "A gem."

Wren frowned. "A gem? Why are we here risking our lives for a gem??"

"You really need to stop talking, boy." Roan said.

"Boy? I might even be older than you. The name's Wren."

"I don't like you here, Wren." When Roan called his name, she held the pronunciation in her tongue like it was disgusting to say.

"Well I don't like being here either. You all look scary as hell!"

"Can we give him a break now?" The young man Orion had called Kian, said.

Roan shook her head. "No, I just can't trust him. What if he's sent here to steal the gem? He's probably a servant of the Dark One."

"Dark One? Who the hell is that supposed to be now?" Wren rolled his eyes.

"He's just so rude. How can he be worthy of being in our midst now! This is just so--"

The same wild Rhino that had attacked him in front of the palace earlier had appeared again. Wren frowned to himself. He had only appeared on that strange land less than a twenty four hours, and now he had faced a lot already. Attacked by a Rhino, nearly killed a man, faced the wrath of a king, and now was in the midst of witches and wizards and a wild Rhino.

He paused abruptly, signaling that they stopped too.

Roan was the first person to yell at him. "What is the meaning of this?"

"Shh! I'm trying to protect you from that!" He pointed straight to the beast in front. It was calm, but it grunted angrily.

The rest of them exchanged a surprised look, then glared at Wren like he was loosing it already.

"Wren, nothing is there. What do you see?" Orion asked.

"There's a Rhino in front! A Rhino looking creature." Wren whispered. He was looking back and forth now to see if they were really alone.

The Rhino made a loud noise again, and now, it was running straight towards Wren.

"Oh not again!" Wren cried out and began to run around for his life. He noticed that neither of the warriors were running but that didn't make him stop.

"We need to stop him before he attracts the trolls!" Roan yelled out then charged at him. The others followed behind.
