Chapter 7 Athena the War Goddess

Two years ago,

At 25th floor,inside of 7th tower,

"Jeez... what's with this fucking snow?"

A man in his early thirties,wearing a full set of black Armor that was made from Imugi's scales which is light with tough that even liquid Aura won't beable to leave a scratch on it.

There are three types of Aura that Aura-master uses

-breeze: can only enhance resistance,

-Liquid: can also be used as weapon Aura,

-Solid: can be used as materialisation.

Imugi was a boss monster of some gate. The person who said that were an S- Rank Hunter who also hunted the Imugi and make a full set Armor by its scales.

"What do you think, sir?"

Said the young man in this early twenty, with the worry showing in his face.

"What?....that can we survive this hellhole?"

Asked S-rank Hunter

"Yes, sir "

"How the fuck do I know ?....if you are that desparate then go asked her."

He pointed towards a girl, who was sitting on a perched rock with her legs crossed, wearing a tight pants and varsity jacket, her silver straight hair upto her shoulders length,face can't be seen clearly as it was covered with a cap and glasses on her eyes but dispite that, you can say that she is a total beauty, leisurely smoking cigarette. She was radiating a strong imitating aura making her presence otherworldly with her beauty.

A young Hunter's cheek flushed as he saw her, " M-me?.....N-no,....I- I w-was just...." He shattered as he calm himself down.

"God damn it, just what was she thinking, we already cleared two floor this year and she still not satisfied?" He signed.

"Normally,a Floor subjugation squad has over the three hundreds hunters and atleast consist ten to twenty S-Rank and SS-Rank combined hunters but how can she be so confident with just one SS-Rank and seven S-ranks, and it's fifth floor no less which have boss monster."

He complains as he fixed his Armor and check his long-axe and gaint sheild.

A man of same age as S-Rank Hunter passed.

"Orlando?" He call for S-Rank Hunter revealing his name 'Orlando'. Orlando in return nod his head as the other Hunter approach to a young beauty sitting on a rock.

"We are ready to go."

She jumps from the rock after hearing him, she throw her half smoked cigarette and put it out as she steps over it, stretched her body and said with a smile

"then, what are we waiting for, Marvin?"

The atmosphere inside the tower was cold as the snow were falling hard, all the Hunters were gathered in a small groups of twenty to thirty Hunters in a small open place that was surrounded by the trees covered in white because of the snow except open from one side as a road wide enough, so that hundreds of Hunters can be passed without a difficulty. A wide road leads to a fortress which had thick walls that can't be broken. At some distances, crystal stones can be found making a barrier outside the wall that protect the wall with lower or middle-class mage's attack.

"MOVE OUT" Marvin shout. All the hunters starts to moves as well as the Orlando with the young Hunters and take the lead as they were Tanks behind them were damage dealers and were supported by magicians and archers and priests and priestesses to heal or to provide buffs.

There were seven groups like these, each lead by one S-rank Hunter and some Hunters left behind as they were from hauling and maintaining teams. Orlando's group were at the middle, at the back of the group standing Marvin with the young girl. As they got close enough to the fortress's wall, arrows imbued with aura and magic attacks like fire ball, mana cannon starts coming from the fortress.

"IRONWALL" Orlando shout as transparent walls appears infront of the group taking all the attacks, other groups also follow the same to protect their groups.

"Ahhhh ...hurry up" he shout at Marvin who were enchanting something and the big magic circle was forming over his head, getting bigger and bigger.

Tank's wall shattered of some groups as they were overtaken by the magicians standing behind them for support, casting a mana shield in return.

After few minutes, all the groups have mana shield over them as the tanks taking their time to recover while Orlando still up as he was the only S-Rank Tank.

The Sky above them filled with the dark clouds, rumbling in rage, announcing the upcoming mayhem, no one but Marvin who was enchanting for several minutes were responsible of it. Suddenly, he stops and shout.

"THUNDERSTORM"

'Booommm'

Dark clouds above explodes in rage, giving rise to the ear deafening rumble of lightning that unfold under these dark clouds, as it strikes the fortress wall. The Thunderstorm was so big that if it were to happen outside the tower, it will annihilate the entire city without leaving a single thing behind. But the wall of fortress didn't come out fully but still it did get damaged quite significantly and also makes a path as the wall collapse in the middle.

The rain of arrows and magic attacks stops, as the Archers and magicians severely hit by the lightning. A calm after a long skirmish.

Marvin fell down on his knees coughing, he planned to take down the barrier which suppose to fend off the attacks of upto middle-class mage attacks but took down the wall too, As he was the only SS-Rank Hunters, who Orlando mentioned before,a eighth circle high-class mage.

"Huff hufffff... I think..huffff.....I did enough for this raid, right ?" He said to young girl standing beside him.

"No, You did more than enough." She replied, pat him on his shoulder. After giving him a big smile, she starts moving.

"I hope,you know what you are doing,Maeve."

Said Marvin with a serious look.

"Of course." She reassure him with a big smile. Then, She removed her cap from her head and leaned towards him, her eyes reveals from the side of her glasses, big violet colored eyes with long silver eyelashes, her silver hair that is moving in a rhythm with the winds and with a beautiful smile on her lips, making her excessively attractive. She put the cap on his head and departed with the same big smile.

Marvin stunned by her beauty, skipped a beat of his heart which he paid no mind to it as it was a normal occurrence whenever, he interact with her, instead he focused his attention towards the figures that coming out of the broke wall.

The metallic swordmen, that made up of only metallic Armor, carrying heavy sheild and longsword, starts to come out within the wall.

After sometime, about one hundred fifty swordmen standing in a three line in front of the Hunters. And at the last,ten knights with their metallic horse came. There was no aura coming out from them but their sturdy metallic Armor is enough to send the chills to the spine of the hunters, through their numbers match up to the metal figures but same can't be said for their strength.
