Awakened

After Steven has defeated the beast, a screen appears before his very eyes saying he has been awakened. what does that mean; Steven thought. As soon as he said those words, a system message showing his stat appeared before his eyes.

Steven seeing this, looked at the hunter who had just removed a crystal from the beast. He wanted to ask so many questions about many things, But he had to keep the system part to himself because he had never heard of a beast hunter having a system in his life.

Now that his villager had been destroyed by a single beast, he did not know what to do. he had become an orphan in a single night. "Can I follow you, I have nowhere else to go. I have never been outside my village before"; Steven asked. Yes, you can the hunter answered him back. Happy with what the hunter had said, he picked up the dagger he had used to kill the beast, and then he started walking toward the hunter. 

I have many questions to ask you about, do you permit me to speak? Yes, you can but first we have to get to the boat I left by the stream, which is through this forest so let's get our legs moving; The hunter said. OK, quick question what is your name; Steven asked. My name is Elijah he answered.

  As they were walking through the forest, Steven was watching his every step, he was scared that a beast could jump out of nowhere and he knew he had to pick up his pace so that he could get to the river safely, so he was by the side of the hunter.

As Steven and Elijah were walking through the forest, Steven was scared of encountering more beasts, he still had the idea that a beast could come out of nowhere and attack them. However, he was also curious about the hunter's world and had many questions to ask. "Can you tell me more about the hunter's world?" Steven asked Elijah. " I said we should get to the boat first; Elijah answered. Come on, it won't kill you to talk while we walk through this forest will it; Steven said. Fine ok, so what do you want to know; Elijah asked. 

  How did you become a hunter? Steven asked. "My father is a hunter, and I wanted to pursue his dreams. I have been training since I was a child, and I have been on many hunts for over a year now. I am a second-rated beast hunter; Elijah said.

Second-rated I did not know that hunters have level. what are all the levels of hunter we have and that of beast; Steven asked amazed by what he had just found. 

  For Hunter, we have the recruit people like you who will just be joining the academy. and the rest are third-rated, second-rated, first-rated, peak rate, zenith rate, and supreme rate. That seven rate in total; Elijah answered.

Now that I think about it, the screen that appeared said something about me being a recruit. Steven thought. And as for the beast, there are also seven tiers that humans have discovered so far. they are common, intermediate, advanced, rare, mystical, legendary, Demons. the one you just killed in the village was an advanced-tier beast. Elijah answered. "I saw you remove something out of the beast. What was that?" He asked.

" Oh, that was a beast crystal. it's like where their energy is stored. it can be used to create weapons that will determine their grade. the higher the grade of crystal used to create a weapon the stronger it becomes. It can also be changed in ki pills"

And am sure you know what ki is. Elijah asked. "Yes I do, it is the energy beast hunter uses. not everyone can use ki" Steven answered.

While Steven was happy about what he had learned, they started to hear a growl from within the woods. Now alert, they could see the beast. No, not again, another beast? Calm down it's just a common-tier beast. Elijah said. Immediately the Hunter said that a screen appeared

"I want you to do this on your own, I will help if you are in a dangerous situation. Now, prove that you have what it takes to become a beast hunter" Elijah said 

Steven stood there, his heart pounding in his chest. The beast was unlike anything he had ever seen before. It was twice his size, with razor-sharp horns and a long, scaly tail. Steven knew that he was no match for the beast, but he had to try. He raised his dagger and took a deep breath.

The beast charged at him and dodged to the side, narrowly avoiding its horns. He lunged forward, plunging his dagger into the beast's side. The beast let out a deafening roar and thrashed about making Steven fall to the ground with the dagger in his hand. The beast then lunged at him hitting him with its horns.

"I took a critical hit, damn it! damn it!"

Steven ran toward the beast once again as fast as he could, he leaped onto the beast's back, holding on tightly as it thrashed around once again. He plunged the dagger into the creature's neck, and it let out a final deafening roar before collapsing into the ground. 

System notifications were appearing before his eyes, but Steven did not care about all that. he stood there, panting and covered in sweat. He had done it. He had defeated the beast. "That's very good, check inside the beast there is a crystal and it is all yours. Elijah said. 

Doing as he was told, Steven brought out a crystal from the beast making another system message appear before him

As they continued walking, Steven felt a sense of awe and wonder. He was also grateful that he met Elijah, who seemed like a very kind and knowledgeable person. After a while, they arrived at where Elijah's boat was waiting. They got in and started rowing downstream.
