Killing Bandits!

"Spiritual technique: Northern Lights!"

An instant after he saw the three bandits running after him, Xie Yang's infused his spiritual energy into his sword, and the moment he did that, his snow-white weapon gleamed chillingly.

The three bandits also noticed it as the shine was too conspicuous, and the feeling of dread in their hearts further intensified, intensified so much that they stomped their feet on the ground to come to a halt immediately.

Right after, they darted backwards while facing Xie Yang.

But before they go anywhere far away from him, Xie Yang not only condensed one-third of his spiritual energy at the tip of his sword but also brandished it towards them.

"Swoosh!"

Out of the tip of Xie Yang's sword, a bright blue beam surged out, and as it cut through the air, it split into seven brilliant rays of sharpness, each as magnificent as the shooting stars.

The first one, which was the fastest and the sharpest among all seven of them, charged towards the Hammer-wielding bandit. Its appearance entirely comprised the burly bandit's field of vision. He could see nothing but a bright blue ray of death coming to reap his life. He felt as if since that person wanted him dead, he could do nothing but die. But he didn't want to die and didn't want to go down without putting up a fight.

Just as it looked like the sharp blue ray would land on him, the burly bandit raised his hammer in front of him.

The blue-ray of sharpness struck it, cutting it in half before disappearing.

Although it has dissipated, the burly bandit didn't even get to experience a single moment of peace or joy as another ray of sharpness came darting towards it. It moved with such speed and ferocity that not only did the burly bandit fail to step out of its way, but he also wasn't able to raise something to defend against it.

The second sword ray successfully landed on the burly bandit!

It drew a red line on its neck, and a second later, its heads separated from its body, and it swung in the air like a spinning top.

Blood spurted out of his headless body as it fell downwards. It landed on the ground with a dull thud. Right then, the burly bandit's head also landed on the ground and rolled up to the headless corpse.

The rogue and the sword-wielding bandit didn't have any time to feel sorry for their boss or even feel angry at Xie Yang for killing him, as the rest of the blue sword rays of extreme sharpness were coming towards them.

Even though they were running away from them at high speed, they still caught up to them.

The rogue slashed his dagger at the two rays homing on to him, but his weapons shattered apart, and he also lost his life miserably.

As his body fell to the ground lifelessly, the sword-wielding bandit hurled his sword towards the last three sword rays.

Although throwing away his weapon helped in dissipating two sword rays, the last one still came towards it.

In hopes of evading it, he rolled to the side and on the ground like a donkey.

The move he performed was an extremely lowly way of evasion that only the members of the beggar sect and little rats that live in sewers would use to save their life, but this bandit didn't mind throwing away all his pride and honor for the sake of staying alive.

The blue sword ray missed his neck, but it still took one of his limbs away with it.

"Argh!" As the last remaining bandit fell to his butt and blood gushed out of the fresh cut on his body, he cried out in pain in the same way a pig would cry when the butcher comes to butcher it

Xie Yang was not the least bit surprised to see him alive.

He knew that he was no longer the king of the spirit world, who was able to put armies of cultivators to shame, but that he was merely a young man now who had only recently stepped on the path of spiritual cultivation and that he was going to experience such situation where others would survive his assault for a long time.

With a frosty sword in his hand, he dashed towards him.

The last remaining bandit saw bone-chilling killing intent in Xie Yang's eyes.

He dropped his weapon, put his hand inside his trousers, pulled out a black talisman, and raised it above his head.

"Don't come near me, or else I will activate this help-seeking talisman, and it will release a signal that will cause all the bandits in the vicinity of the spiritual forest to arrive here! If that happens, even if you've three heads and eight arms, you won't live past today! So, you better not come anywhere near me! I am warning you!"

The last bandit's threat would've worked on any other person but not Xie Yang.

"Good, do it!"

Without a doubt, Xie Yang didn't stop running towards him, nor did he lower his killing intent, and he even had the mood to urge the bandit to activate the talisman and send out a help-seeking signal!

The bandit realized that he had offended a maniac who was not afraid of the creator nor its creation.

He poured some of his spiritual energy into the talisman in his hand, causing it to light up and shoot towards the sky. After reaching high up in the air, it exploded into brilliant and eye-catching fireworks.

Since the bandit knew he would die, he chose to make things extremely difficult for Xie Yang.

When Xie Yang cut off his neck, a content smile was hanging on the corners of the bandit's lips.

Xie Yang knew that the bandit died while thinking that soon his actions would send him to the afterlife too!

'What a fool.' Xie Yang snickered, and the smile on his face made him look all the more formidable, scheming, and fearless.

Xie Yang thought that the bandit was too foolish to believe that he managed to send out a signal all by himself.

If he didn't want him to release it, even if the bandit had ten lives, he would have still failed to activate the talisman and would've failed to send out a signal!

The only reason the bandit managed to send out the signal successfully was that Xie Yang wanted more bandits to be attracted to this place!
