CH384: FIRE VS BEAST
In shame, Jason carried his bruised and beaten body back to the top floor where he was met by Tamsin's judgmental glare in her eyes. The woman, proud of herself and her Mutants, gloated at the sight of Jason's defeat and couldn't help herself.
She scoffed at the boy while he licked his own wounds…not literally. While doing so, Angel Fury, a Fire Mutant, walked past him and made her way to the field where she and Tamsin's Mutant would carry out the assessment.
The two girls gave each other a light bow while they waited for the command allowing them to begin. In awkward silence, Angel looked at the girl and tried making conversation saying,
"My name's Angel Fury. It's a pleasure to be learning under you."
"Oh, a pleasure huh!!" the Mutant chuckled, a warm smile growing on her face. "I'm Lyanna but you can call me Lya. Trust me, I'm not someone you should learn from. It's Tamsin and Xanthe you should be speaking to like that, not me."
