From the western half of the city to the eastern half, the silence stretched out as far as possible, with no signs of human activity taking place. The whole city was overcome with a sense of fear of the looming beasts roaming around. Some may wonder why an entire city would grow weary of a beast, let alone two.
Throughout the years, beasts that were shaped like humans grew a reputation for being vicious, malicious, and bloodthirsty. Those who dedicated their lives to studying beasts learned that the more human-shaped it looked, the more intelligence the beast would possess. Therefore, if two humanoid beasts were roaming around the city's forests, there was a good reason for a curfew to be enforced.
