A/N: sorry that I didn't update yesterday, I just needed to take a day off to look more into Overlord, and damn! That's a lot of shit! It was too much, also I don't know everything about Overlord, so if I get something wrong just correct me. Oh and also, there's going to be a shit ton of plot holes in this chapter, well almost every chapter...

While this was happening Avion entered the castle or palace, he doesn't really know nor care. And is currently walking towards the throne room, the palace isn't as great a Nazarick but it's kinda in the middle of every castle he's seen, which is only two.
Gazef went in first and told Avion to wait outside until he calls him. While he was waiting Xana teleported behind him, she let him know that Clockwork, Toby, and Jeff are investigating the investigators, which sounds weird when you say it out loud. Like a fucking tongue twister.
So while Gazef was talking to the king, Avion notified Eucli know of his situation and to check in.
"Eucli, you there?"
Eucli was startled but calmed down rather quickly, "yup I'm here, ehh, what's happening over there?"
"Other than being bored out of my mind and wanting to go asleep, nothing much... okay, so I'm outside of the throne room of the palace and I think I'm about to get a reward, should I ask something for you?" Avion jokes at the end.
"Well-uhh, Hmm, I guess you could ask to be an adventurer with Xana. Oh! Also ask for some money, our currency doesn't work, so we're broke." Eucli said this after thinking for a couple of seconds.
"Oh? Yay! We're broke as shit and we can't even do most of the thing we probably need to do in this new world!" Avion sarcastically replied back to Eucli.
"Hey! Fuck you! You would've know this if you joined in the conversation I had with the village chief you wouldn't be bitching about it!" Eucli went off on Avion.
Avion smiled then spoke back, "Wow, I guess stress can get to you! I thought since your a necromancer that you wouldn't have feelings, like a cold heart. But hey! I guess I can be wrong sometimes."
Eucli grumbled then spoke back, "With you and your armor I wouldn't be surprised if you can't brush your teeth! And another thing! What's the hell is up with the Dark Empire? I haven't heard anything from them in two weeks!"
"Oh? I don't know about that, and leave teeth out of this! You know I can't eat because of my race, even if I want to eat I just need to eat radioactive stuff!" Avion was going to continue to complain but the doors to the throne room opened, "ah! Eucli I gotta go"
"Wait hol-" Eucli got cut off.
Avion went forth and soldiers were near the walls, away from the walkway and near windows and walls as well as the throne itself.
On the throne was a man whom looked to be past his prime, and with the crown on his head it was obvious: this man is the king. Gazef was on his side, to the left to be exact, there was a girl whom is on the right near a rounded table with four other woman with her. Two looked young like in the late teens and early twenties.
One looked to be old, but yet looked to be a brute with the reddish armor that she wears. The last one looks to be too young, she looked to be ether 10 or in her early teens. There was another girl that was in the shadows but she held no hostile intent so he ignored her.
A/N: I'm not going to spend an hour describing them when you most likely already know who they are and what they wear.
Avion arrived ten or so feet away from the stairs that went up to the King's throne and kneeled but not as she should do to a king, but as respect as a king to another, well more like an emperor for Avion; Xana also kneeled beside Avion.
The king spoke to Avion and Xana "welcome! As you already know I am the king of the Re-Estize kingdom, my name is Ramposa the lll. I wish to show my gratitude for you has saved my Head Warrior. Please speak up and let yourself known."
A/N: I have no idea on what his personality is so I just made him as a caring and compassionate king.
The women who are at the round table seems to be greatly interested unlike before, they continued drinking whatever that is in their cups but most of their attention was set on Avion and Xana.
Avion stood up and introduced himself with a small bow, "Hello Ramposa, my name is Avion, this is my friend Xana, unless Gazef already let you know what happened then I don't think I need to go over the situation that led us here."
"Gazef has let me know what happened, however what has caught my attention was that we have zero information on who you are and where you came from. But my guess is, is that you never went into a city in my kingdom." The king made his theory on where Avion and Xana came from.
"Heh, you are correct, we never went into a city at all, we mostly stayed away as in our opinion it's too cramp to train. However as training is over we decided to make our way into the city and we came across the village then. As the rest? You know the rest." Xana stood up as Avion spoke again.
"Well, I hope I can reward you too your liking, since you've lived in the outside world for so long, you may have an affinity with adventuring. Would you like to become an adventurer in my kingdom?" Ramposa went straight to the point, he must've been a king for a long time for him to speak so clearly.
"Well, that would be helpful, we are kind in need of money right now. If adventuring could be a source of income then please, tell us where to sign up." Avion did this with a little of a chuckle at the start.
"Haha! Well no need to sign up! You got a head start! Since you saved one of the strongest warrior in the kingdom you might start out as Adamantum, or orchiaum." The king said this with a laugh.
