The South of the North Pole

A hundred years after that long war initiated by the Fire Nation, colonies of that same nation could be found in territories of other nations that had been losing ground against the fatal attacks made against them unexpectedly.

Many resisted; at the North Pole, there were two great-known tribes: one in the north and the other in the south. It's known that the southern village is in decline due to the lack of warriors in that place.

If it weren't for the northern tribe sending aid, it would be estimated that everyone in the southern area would have been completely conquered. Similarly, it's known that the Fire Nation took all the waterbending masters, leaving this place completely weakened.

But that was about to change; Thorian's goal was to gather all the tribes in the south and teach them his new waterbending method aimed at slaughter.

If everyone patiently learned the method Thorian would teach them, they could all massacre the invaders and rise strongly against these attackers.

The method he was using focused not on defense but on attack, and the best way to attack is through ice because its solid base could create more fatal attacks than a simple push from a waterbending move mostly used for defense against fire.

From now on, Thorian would teach them how to massacre, not to defend, because that hadn't gotten them anywhere during all these years of war.

"Everyone has fought bravely, but what they have done is never enough, so let me show you the way," murmured Thorian, who, in the distance, watched as a tribe was being extorted by a Fire Nation ship.

Looking at that enormous cruiser, Thorian initially wanted it destroyed, but he knew it could be useful for mobilizing the people who still needed help, so he preferred to land slowly.

... Southern Village.

Boom!

"Ahhhh!!!"

The small village, which focused on fishing and had abandoned its customs to maintain peace, was being attacked by Fire Nation soldiers who were only here to have fun.

"We've told you, sir..." An elderly man begged for mercy as he watched these men commit atrocities against his village.

A long-bearded man named Derk looked at the elderly man on the ground and smirked arrogantly. His gaze wandered over these pitiful people and he said, "They are truly pitiful. At least that village we destroyed recently showed formidable resistance, but you guys are pathetic."

A child in the crowd furrowed his brows; his gaze was filled with fury as he saw his grandfather being trampled by these invaders, but he said nothing.

"Please, let us go."

Pum!

"Shut up, you damned idiot!" Derk shouted, kicking the elderly man in the head.

At that point, the child named Darío screamed with all his might, "Leave my grandpa alone, you damned invaders!"

"Hmm, hahaha!" The soldiers who heard these complaints from a sniffling child couldn't help but mock. They enjoyed how these pitiful people sought ways to please them.

Love for power? Perhaps to them, despite committing many violations of the laws of war, it didn't matter, and no one was above their ranks.

"We'll kill the old man and cut the boy's tongue out; after that, you'll give us your valuables, and only then will we consider letting you go." Derk, who was the captain of this group of soldiers, had clear intentions from the beginning of coming here.

Boom!

But at that moment, a spear of ice suddenly fell from the sky, piercing the throat of one of the Fire Nation soldiers who was mocking these people.

In just a moment, that soldier held his throat a little confused, and looking at Derk, who was beside him, he fell to the ground in a pool of blood.

What just happened?

That is the question everyone asked when they saw a soldier die in such a brutal way that it left them all afraid.

"Where?" Derk, who reacted faster, looked around to see if any of these people knew waterbending.

The other soldiers formed up, but at the same time, another spear of ice fell from the sky, this time piercing the chest of one of the soldiers.

Derk looked toward the sky, and a thick fog began to descend from above their heads, so he immediately shouted upon realizing that something was not right, "We're under attack, everyone in formation!"

Boom! Boom! Boom!

In just a few moments, at least five soldiers had died in such a brutal way that they feared for their lives.

"Attack!"

"What are we supposed to attack?"

Dark frowned in horror at his shout, "Attack the sky!"

When everyone knew that someone was attacking the firebending masters, they all hid in their respective houses, but the child named Darío stayed nearby to watch what was going on.

"Aaaaahhhhh!"

Crack!

Derk watched a soldier's head roll by his feet; suddenly, the surroundings were filled with thick fog, and they couldn't see where they were being attacked from.

"Do you feel fear? Today all of you will die; I'll cut off your limbs, and my companion will eat you, turning you into excrement later." Thorian's voice echoed in the surroundings, but it was so diffuse that it could be coming from anywhere.

"Show yourself!"

Boom!

Derk desperately attacked in a random direction, wanting to confront the man who had killed them so slowly. "Fight like a man, you damned coward!"

Fight like a man?

Thorian was no fool; having the advantage against so many firebending masters, he wouldn't waste it by fighting head-on against those cowardly men.

They didn't deserve that respect.

Boom!

"Arghhhh!!!"

Seeing how this man held his chest, Thorian, who had killed the last man on the steam cruiser, held him by the neck as he fell to his knees, lowered his gaze to his level, and said, "Are you afraid of death? Well, I hope you enjoy knowing that you're going straight to hell."

With those last words, Thorian slit the throat of this drunken soldier, who wasn't even prepared to face him in hand-to-hand combat.

The decadence of these soldiers knowing they're in controlled territory is very pitiful, but Thorian, who had his principles very clear, knew he would kill any Fire Nation member regardless of their intentions.

Children and women?

Thorian scoffed at that; he knew they would all die under his attacks, except for those who surrendered and were willing to be his dogs.

Feeling that warm blood touch his hand, he controlled it through his abilities, forming a blood dagger and murmuring, "We have power; how is it that we're losing in our own territory?"

Seeing that there were only about ten Fire Nation soldiers left, Thorian held his sword and murmured, "Death to the oppressors; none shall remain alive."
