"Sir, reports say that all enemy colonies have been placed under our soldiers' supervision."
Thorian, who was seated on a crystal throne, looked at a specific point and said, "Do not mistreat those who live there without intending harm; treat them as humans and do not abuse your power."
"I will make sure to relay your orders, my lord."
"Why are you changing your mind now?" Suki asked as she entered the ice palace where Thorian was at that moment.
Upon hearing this question, Thorian chuckled softly and didn't seem upset. "The Avatar has said he would support my idea of complete unification to achieve world peace. For that, I simply must not harm civilians and focus only on eliminating those who must be eliminated."
Although the Avatar believed in forgiveness, the Thorians did not share the same sentiment. To ensure a future without wars, they must eliminate any signs of uprising.
Suki seemed to understand Thorian's words; she understood his plans to a large extent because every day since she moved to this giant island, they had talked about much more than just war.
Everyone who thought of Thorian as a tyrant had no idea. What does war have to do with a ruler's behavior? Thorian was sincere and kind. Suki knew that he was doing all this because of the suffering he had endured during his childhood and his duty to prevent anyone else from suffering as he did as a child. Therefore, she would stand by his side until all this ended.
At that moment, the bell indicating the end of today's training sounded in the distance, making everyone relax. Right now, on this island, there was only a war camp and the ice castle that Thorian had built in his free time.
Everyone had set up tents, and a large part of the fleet was in this place.
In a separate room, Thorian showed Suki some movements he had been training for the past few weeks. The strange sensation he had experienced after the spirit granted him that power had caused many changes in him.
Suki, who had been observing those movements, began to train the inner energy within her after learning that she had a certain degree of control over a strange aura that emanated from her. Knowing that she had a talent for something new, she decided to learn with Thorian's help and had been training silently so far.
While Suki meditated, Thorian looked at symbols on the walls of crystalline ice. These symbols spoke of the truth of war and what had led him to make the decision to unify all continents into one nation.
If, for some reason, he died in that battle, Brad would be his backup and would take over, completing his path. He and Suki knew that if, for some reason, he failed, he would take the Fire Nation emperor and a large part of his army with him.
The same technique that his father had used when he eliminated many of his assassins was the one Thorian had learned a long time ago.
Now that they had come this far, he had the right to ensure that everything could be fulfilled as planned. He owed that to everyone, and that's exactly what he would do when the time came.
Unbeknownst to him, night had fallen. Realizing that he had fallen into deep meditation, he looked at Suki, who was under a tree by a stream.
She heard Thorian's footsteps but didn't turn around. Suki decided to continue looking at the stars.
That night, as they dined on a balcony, Suki mentioned her concerns and made it clear that she didn't want Thorian to die.
Thorian smiled and asked, "Would you like to travel with me to the battle?"
"I thought you didn't want my presence." She replied as she would at any other time, but her voice was different.
"I am always making changes; I think you would encourage many people, and I am no one to deny your participation if you want to come." Thorian said as he stared at Suki, who looked away shortly after.
After a long silence, Thorian was about to say something when suddenly Suki asked, "Are you going to win that fight if it's accepted?"
"Of course, I will win."
...
In the following days, in addition to training the new army, a defensive line was established on allied borders, and the construction of the city that Thorian would lead and where his reign would be located began.
This time the structures were different, with the right personnel participating; there were notable changes.
The goal of this new city is to have no cultural changes; everything would remain the same, and here the leadership of much of the world would take place as planned.
