Blood, Honor, and Glory

One year later,.

The colonies in the South of the Water Nation had been under constant attack from unknown origins, and they had lost a significant part of their fleet to the extent that travel was not authorized for fear of losing high-value cruisers.

This had happened frequently before, but it was nothing worrisome. However, now it was happening every time a cruiser moved away from the colonies of the Fire Nation, which was absolutely unacceptable.

"Why do we have to stand guard? It's impossible for those water villages to have a chance of defeating a division in this place, and frankly, we don't know what is attacking us," a soldier complained as the weather was extremely cold.

A soldier next to him said, "That's precisely why we have to be prepared; we've lost thousands of comrades without knowing exactly what is attacking us, and we all expect to be invaded."

"That's absurd!"

"Haha, I can't believe you're starting to feel afraid."

Amidst the banter, someone watching the sea soon saw a boat approaching and shouted, "There's something in the sea; prepare yourselves!"

In an instant, dozens of soldiers assumed their positions, and even the general had been informed immediately. When everyone saw a boat approaching, they could notice that behind that thick fog, there was nothing else.

"Confirm what that boat is about," General Vilgax shouted. He had been entrusted with the mission to eliminate the tribes of the South along with the troops of the ravens. He had accepted the mission, but in all this time, he hadn't encountered any tribe, and the weather was so bad that they couldn't go with smaller boats because they could capsize.

When a soldier with a different uniform approached, he looked at a soldier from the Fire Nation. "Clear, this is an ally."

Vilgax frowned. He was about to return when suddenly the soldiers returned with a letter. "Commander, this is a message that came with him."

"[This is the Water Nation; we have thousands of your prisoners who are dying of hunger, but as we are of good heart, we offer you a deal: if you send back the prisoners of war of the Water Nation to a special point, we can deliver the prisoners we have from the Fire Nation in our ranks.] "

When he read these words, he frowned and looked at the soldier from the Fire Nation who had been returned with hundreds of helmets belonging to other divisions that had disappeared long ago.

"Damn bastards, if they want to play this game, then I'll crush them." Vilgax returned to the city, but not without making it clear to the visitors to be alert.

...

As time passed in terrible silence, Thorian, who was in the false base of the Water Nation's advance, where there were only no more than a hundred warriors and some submarines,.

Looking at the numerous cells designed to limit the firebending of these soldiers and keep them at a temperature where they wouldn't die but would prevent them from using firebending.

"Is everyone prepared correctly?" Thorian was now a little over fifteen years old; his body had developed very well, and now he looked more like an adult than a simple child.

Brad, who was by his side, reported, "The four thousand warriors will mobilize when this base is under attack; if we manage to resist, we'll take the colony before the Fire Nation's navy realizes we've set a trap for them."

"And our fleet?"

"In position, we'll make the exchange as planned and depart as soon as possible, provided we give them that time to escape." Brad was Thorian's right-hand man in the war council, so he was informed about practically everything.

Days had passed; the exact location of where they were was given days later, and there was movement throughout the colony of the Fire Nation. Thorian's plan was impeccable; as long as it was successful, everyone would surrender except for a few who didn't fear the massacre of their relatives in the colony.

That was the plan; once the colony was invaded, everyone would be taken prisoner and threatened with a genocide where everyone would die. If the invaders continued to attack, they were ordered to massacre all the relatives of the invaders and then initiate a direct war to the bitter end.

But Thorian knew that the invaders had soft hearts when it came to their relatives; that's why he would capture everything they were vulnerable to.

"Commander, the colony's fleet is on the move. Shall we start the plan now?" A soldier approached Thorian quickly.

Boom!

Without saying a single word, Thorian sent a powerful blaze into the sky, and in that instant, the war had begun.

The fleet with no more than two thousand soldiers was on the fifty cruisers with the flags of the Water Nation; half of them had been stolen in this area, and others were taken from different battlefields.

There was no doubt that the current fleet of the Water Nation was memorable, but this was not Thorian's plan, so after putting on a mask, he stopped at the small wall of what used to be the city of the Water Nation.

The snow-capped mountains had disappeared; now the only thing left was the open sea and numerous cruisers ready for the plan.

At that moment, in the distance, a fleet of no more than a hundred cruisers could be seen, and the flags of the ravens danced in the air.

When Thorian looked at that flag, his eyes narrowed; those same flags appeared in the invasion of his village, and he supposed that some of those who were in that invasion would be in this fleet.

"I'll take care of killing them all," Thorian thought as he watched the fleet get closer and closer.
