Chapter 33: Meeting Old Mo

Looking at them I tried to think of a way to escape while in my thoughts the black-haired girl began to speak. "So you're the one we've been looking for?" "Excuse me but I have never seen you in my entire life." "That may be true but I finally found you second Avatar." "Second Avatar but I think you got me confused with someone else." "No, I am sure you the second Avatar I saw manipulated earth and the wind".

Remembering that they did see me bend earth and air I had no another choice but to come clean. Asking her what business they have with me depending on her response I'll just book it. "My father Lord Ozai wishes for you to join his side and if you're willing please come follow us. Back to the capital"

Seeing that they didn't have any bad intentions and they just wanted to talk I decided to Liston to them. The girl with black hair and eyes introduced herself as Azula the pale skin is called Mai and the last one is called Ty Lee." Introducing myself as Jack Lee and telling them they got a bit of my time to talk. Azula steps forward talking about some of the benefits that come when joining them.

"My father is offering you a partnership and the only thing you have to do is keep the Avatar at bay whenever he attacks. You also be handsomely rewarded and will grant citizenship ship once you accept my offer, along with land and money" The offer that Azula offered is not bad but it's better to go to the source. Alright, I consider your offer but I have something important to do right now.

If possible can we meet up in a weeks time by then I should be free. Hearing what I had to say Azula agreed to meet in a week's time putting my shirt on I left the girls.

Talking with Vaatu to see if Azula was telling the truth but all he told me was that she was way. Confirming that she was telling the truth I won't skip out on our meeting. I'll have to tell Old Mo to get his opinion on it I trust the bending skills that I could escape but I'll try not to get myself in trouble if I don't have to.

Following the trail, I started to see the military camp entrance. When I arrived at the front the guards stopped me and asked for the reason for coming. Not wanting to deal with them I showed them the bracelet Old Mo gave me.

After showing them they let me in heading straight to the registration office. Entering I asked them if they could help me find someone called Fan Mo. looking at me the man asked about my relationship with Mo telling him I am his grandson.

Getting a file from a drawer he told me the location of Old Mo's house. Writing it down I thanked the man and left the camp. Getting on the trail to Old MO's home is half a day away.

Walking till sunset I arrived at a big house knocking on the door it soon opened. Expecting to see Old Mo but what I saw was a cute maid asking for my reason for coming. Telling her to meet with Fan Mo leading me to the living room and giving me some tea.

Sitting for a bit and drinking it Old Mo came walking in. Seeing him I got up and walked toward him as we both hugged none another and Dhara wrapped the both of us.

Seeing us Old Mo told us how much we changed as he began to talk. Sitting down I explained all I have went through. Explaining who I meet along my journey from a merchant to the Avatar. Explain to him the steps I have gone through to become one.

How I found the legendary Spirit Library becoming friends with the guardian and how he trained me. From helping with my reflexes and mental fortitude to making my body stronger. Then making a deal with Vaatu to grant me power.

After that becoming the second Avatar learning air bending and a little bit of water bending too. Soon how I met and fought both Bumi and the Avatar on the same day and bet them both. After telling Old Mo about my journey his eyes widen.

Not expecting me to accomplish so much in 5 years. But what almost caused him a heart attack was how I fought both Bumi and the Avatar on the same day and beat them both.

Repeating it a few times he congratulated me telling me how much I have grown and changed. Putting his hand on my shoulder. Soon a fist came rushing at my head sensing this I leaned back making Old Mo miss me.

Increased my voice asking why he tried to hit me but he just told me that he just wanted to test my reflexes. Hearing his excuses I did not believe him but I left it alone. I asked Old Mo what he did during my journey he told me all he did was enjoy his retirement and the company of his maid.

Hearing of what he did I was glad that he left that cave and was somewhere comfy and having someone help him. Becoming dark outside I told Mo about who I met and what they are offered.

I explained that the daughter of Lod Ozai called Azula passed on some words. That Ozai wanted me to join his side and keep the Avatar at bay and nothing else. Also that the reward that they are offering is not that bad being land, money, and citizenship, and that in a few days, I'll meet them.

Hearing what I said Old Mo asked why I told him all this. Telling him that I need some advice on what choice I needed to make. As silence covered the whole room he told me to follow what I believe in. But if I do choose to follow Lord Ozai I'll most likely become the number one enemy of the other nations. He told me that I must think about this carefully and weigh out the pros and cons of my decision.

Seeing the moon at its highest point we decide to end the conversation and turn in for the night.
