Avatar: the Journey of Kai

Fire, Air, Water, Earth, the Avatar existed to bring balance and maintain order, from the very first Avatar Wan to the most recent one Korra. Each Avatar had faced trials and tribulations all in the name of maintaining the balance of the world. Korra had done wonders for the world, bringing spirits and humans together by refusing to close the portals, bringing the Airbender back to the world, stopping the emergence of the red lotus, creating democracy within the Earth kingdom, and many more. She had brought peace and balance in her time. But she also has some regrets, and that is cutting the connection of the avatar to their past life. She had become the last and first Avatar. Now her time is over, a new avatar will emerge, the journey of Kai will begin . . . . . Hey guys, TheManCandy here. You might be familiar with my other work, A Survivor's Life in the Dungeon. Anyway, this would be the second fanfic that I'll be writing, but this time, it's closer to an original since I'll be stepping away from the source material from the start and would only be using the lore of that universe. this is after all a story of a new Avatar. The characters for this one will be mainly OC, with named show characters either being dropped or having a short cameo. after all, those characters would either be dead or too old to be relevant to the plot. anyway, thanks for giving this a try and picking it up. love y'all.
